Bad in all regards. 6% fee for credit card...and they don't tell you. Super slow service, one thing at a time...sit you but no drink order...much later a drink order but no food order...much later food order...much later food but you can't give a credit card...much much much later a bill but they will be back later for your card...a bit later they take the card...a bit later they bring one copy to sign and no copy for you. It was painful. And the food disappointed too. The Spanish omelette w "seasoned beef" is a taco omelette. Taco meet. Ground beef. Why call it Spanish? It was literally swimming in grease. I can't believe this place is popular cuz a few people around me were also complaining about slow service, no coffee refills, etc. Also v cramped at the counter, but I can forgive them for this. It's a counter service. But then the worst was the waitress hovering over me when I was signing the check, watching my tip, laying on the pressure, and complaining about how the govt is now taxing her tips. Poor thing. She has to pay income tax? How unfair! I only went to one other breakfast place in town, the PO, and it was good in all regards, and absolutely superb...

I come into Sheridan every couple years for work, and each time I always come to the Silver Spur at least once for what is Chun P's BEST Chicken Fried Steak in America.

$14 Chicken Fried Steak is about 2000 calories worth of food, a great value, and a great meal! The menu says its 6oz, but it sure looks and feels more like 8-10oz. The Chicken Fried Steak is big, thick, and juicy, with a very thick crispy breading that stays crunchy, even while doused in the rich and creamy sausage loaded gravy(you can ask for it on the side). The hashbrowns are potato perfection, very, very, very, crispy and buttery! And you get two eggs of your style, and a slice of toast. This is a lot of America all on one plate...it's an epic, fatty, sodium, and calorie loaded meal!

Can't quite give it 5 Stars do due to so so ambience, and service can be a sweet warm smile or a waitress who just had a bad fight with her boyfriend/husband the night before...but Chicken Fried Steak...
