I brought several items from them it's my last time. Customer service horrible. Was made to feel like I was a problem. Because I was given bad seafood. Lisa definitely had an attitude because of it. Instead of saying bring it back. She was very defensive and accused me of raising my voice because I told her I know the difference between bad Seafood which is not the same as Seafood smelling like Seafood. Been a customer for over 10 years.. She was nice enough to offer my money or exchange after we went around and around. This is it Done.
Update... I am just seeing this reply.. Lol @ the reply... 1st of all.. you have me figured out!? I was a customer of the store between 2003 to 2010. I moved back to my hometown in 2010. I had not shopped in your store in over 6 years. I returned to the area 2016. The encounter I am speaking of was my 1st encounter since returning.. So, please explain what you figured out! Not to mention I told you I would bring it back. You refused. I still brought it back..I can't believe you are this much of a liar. It almost Hilarious. But looking at the other reviews I can see it's a pattern. Bottomline... I spent nearly $200 for seafood and steaks. The seafood was bad. The steak was wrapped with pork. We exchange the steaks because of the pork. Meaning it was brought back.. along with the bad seafood that I wrapped back up and handed back to you. And you refunded the seafood. I asked you multiple times on the call if you wanted it back. Because of your argumentive manner. As if I was lying to you. You refused multiple times. The funny part is. I was about 45 mins away from location prepping to prepare my dinner when I noticed the seafood was bad. I was willing to drive back at the moment. However, I would not have made it before the store closed. As far as Nasty that would be you. It was such a better place to shop prior to you. You have a horrible attitude and customer service manner. But please don't lie. Because I have proof. 1st you are lying about my shopping habits. How was I eating and asking for refunds living over 1800 miles away. Lol... just that lie alone speaks volumes... I have you figured out. Instead of apologizing because the seafood was bad and asking me to bring it in if you felt it was a lie. Because I don't take you as a person. Easily taken advantage of. You refused to face the issue and blamed it on the customer by falsifying the facts of the transaction. Customers write reviews about our experiences. Believe me no one wants to take out the time to write a review. Customers normally write if the experience was really great or really horrible. Christmas is nearing and I wanted to give my staff a Christmas party that had a taste of Louisiana. I was preparing to drive back to Louisiana to pick up some boudin, sausages, and Roux when I was led to conduct a search for "Arkansas stores selling Louisiana products" WoW!! to my surprise there was one only 30 minutes from my place. I was excited!!!I call the store just to hear the voice on the other end of the phone. Well, it was not a Cajun voice but the gentleman, I do believe him name is Larry, was so nice and friendly. He told a couple of Cajun jokes (he did a good job with the jokes) and proceeded to tell me about the products offered. I was impressed!!! I made my way to the store a few days later. I was filled with joy to see so many Louisiana products. I felt like I was at home! The store owner was so nice and friendly. We talked for at least one hour and a half. She told some Cajun jokes as well. The store was clean and well organized. The products was truly Louisiana products. As customers came in to make purchases it was a great feeling to engage in conversation about the Louisiana products. The customer service, the cleanliness, and the availability of fresh products made me feel like I was back in Louisiana. When got to the register lady start calling peoples name and taking there orders. When a man said go ahead take care of them she responded no it's okay while my two younger children cried. Then when I asked if someone could ring us out she had a nasty attitude telling me that she can't ring me out till our stuff is there which our stuff was sitting there the whole time. Then said she's doing her best getting people who's been there the longest. Left didn't get anything after driving from Conway anf after having 2 kids cry.
Response to owner post: Sorry my dear husband wasn't embarrassed but neithersuprise from your response to my post. Also there weren't 40 people in the store that's very funny. Your husband took as long as he did for the fact he has fantastic customer service skills and I feel very sorry for him because it seems all bad ratings are only pointed toward you and your attitude rudeness and unprofessionalism.
