Five Guys — Restaurant in Shoreline

As local burger lovers, we tried a 2nd time after the first visit came short of expectations, knowing new restaurants need to work out their kinks. Now, I don’t normally leave poor reviews, but the food was of poor quality.

Burgers: Meat is pressed on the grill, dried out, lack of flavor, sloppy assembly and soggy bun. Ketchup all over the side of the bun and wrapped poorly.

Fries: Undercooked. They smelled and tasted like blanched potatoes. Did not drain basket properly. Puddles of grease within the bag soaked thru onto clothing and all over the burgers.

I frequent the Northgate location as a Shoreline resident and was happy they put one closer. However the people that run this new location need training. Until then, we will...

I wanted to leave a five-star review, but three stars is probably too generous. The only reason I'm not leaving a one-star review is because we had a previous experience here that was amazing, total opposite of tonight.

The first time we came to this location the burgers were fantastic and made just as we ordered them. Tonight, we bought three burgers, and they were soaked with such ridiculously excessive amounts of ketchup and mustard, that we ended up having to throw away the wet, soggy, greasy, disintigrating buns and toppings, and use our own bread for the patties.

Paid $21 four HAIR in my burger (that they forgot to put my toppings on) amongst a few other things that weren’t that big of a deal… but the wrong order with a side of hair was too much 😭 with how much they’re charging for a cheeseburger I’m expecting a little more, especially on opening when I’m one of 3 customers.
