Big Chicken — Restaurant in Shoreline

Service was awesome, the counterperson was sweet and kind. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich combo and ordered jalapeno slaw as my side. To round it out I also ordered 5 Buffalo wings as I needed to see if their chicken was any good and wings are one of the best places to start.

1- Nashville Chicken sandwich - 4/5. Super flavorful, bun was perfect, pickles and lettuce with the mayo was just spot on, I destroyed it as it was so yummy. My only flaw was that it is quite small basically quaint kind of like a larger slider.

2 - Buffalo Wings - 2/5. I come from central NJ so my expectations are really high and I'm always looking for a place out here in Seattle land with good wings and I simply haven't found them yet in my 18 yrs of living here. I am spoiled by the wings of central NJ when I visit yearly. Anyways these wings were NOT crispy at all, just soggy and the skin just slid off in a soggy way. I don't know about you but I prefer crispy wings. There was too much meat as well like I can't stand wings with so much meat and so little crispy exterior. I ate some of the wings, buffalo flavor was OK and they don't have blue cheese only ranch.

3 - Jalapeno slaw - 4/5. Pretty damn good! Definitely on the medium spicy side since their are some nice size jalapeners in there. This slaw would be amazing on a sandwich which they do serve.

The restaurant is clean, stylish, and well lit. There are two self-service ordering kiosks and a register. A unique feature is that instead of napkin dispensers, each table has a roll of paper towels on a stand. I'm not particularly into sports but the fact that this is a Shaq franchise is probably a big selling point for some.

The Nashville Hot Sandwich was very good, and I'd like to try the ghost pepper option another day if I'm feeling brave. Fries were hot, lightly salted, and crispy. Two sauce cups was maybe overkill for the amount of fries, but it was good. I'm also impressed by the Mac and cheese, it is one of the best I've had at a restaurant (although I did not try the Cheez-it topping.) So I have been coming here and it was good and no complaints at all but this one i don’t know if I want to come back or not get this item again but like two weeks ago I used my points to get a free milkshake and I said no whipped cream the employee said yes and we got checked out and I asked her again make sure there’s no whip and she said yes, so when the other employee was making the milkshake he was done and then the employee by the whipped cream on the milkshake, went to the garbage, can scoop out the whipped cream and put it in the garbage and started to remake my shake the same cup then looking, I got it the cup was dirty, and I took it.
