I was impressed with the selection of eco-friendly goods that Recology sold. I have seen a lot of the products they carry when doing research on reducing carbon footprint. I was really surprised to see a bulk section for soaps and detergents that I had not seen very much elsewhere. They also sold metal lunch containers, jewelry made from recycled metals, felt coasters, reusable straws and water bottles, etc. They also had a kids section as well. The people working were not the most outgoing and while they greeted us as we came in, they did not make any attempt to leave their seats at the register and were talking about how many hours they worked. Twice now I've stopped by this store to do my part only to be heavily scrutinized for the content and appearance of my trash.
