This was my second visit for take out from Larb Thai and I’m starting to lean to the idea that this might be the best Thai restaurant in Seattle. My first visit was focused on the Isarn classic - larb (duck). This place just knocks it out of the park. Extremely good mix of the correct, classic herbs and just the right amount of seasoning. Second visit I ordered Pad See Ew (pork) and it really knocked my socks off. Best execution of this dish I’ve had in Seattle. Great wok char, noodle consistency, vegetable cut. Each bite is easily composed on your spoon. Interior decor is warm and inviting, cozy and the staff were attentive and very nice. Plenty of parking in the back to accommodate a full restaurant. I’m happy to see the obvious passion that is being put into this restaurant, and fortunate that it is also the closest Thai restaurant to me.

I’m from out of state and visiting family who live nearby but hadn’t tried this restaurant yet, so we went to try it together. For the whole table we had the krapow with ground pork, the tom kha gai, the larb ped, the larb hed and the swimming rama, which my relatives told me is more of a local dish because I’d never seen it at Thai restaurants in my home state. The spiciness scale is 1-5 and we got our dishes between 2 and 4, and the level 4 dishes were very spicy but not overwhelming. I only took the one photo of the krapow and we had already started eating so it doesn’t look perfect but it was that delicious! Service was very helpful and friendly. My relatives say this is definitely going to be one of their regular places now!

I’m so happy to see this new Thai restaurant offering nontraditional Thai dishes that actually taste good and authentic. They have a wide variety on the menu, and luckily we went with a big group so we got to try a lot. I’d say about 90% of the dishes were on point. The papaya salad was the only one that wasn’t consistent. We reordered it because the first one was great, but the second didn’t quite hit the mark.

Portions are on the smaller side, so I’d recommend ordering two dishes per person. That said, the total cost was very reasonable. Service was great and very attentive even though they were really busy. I’ll definitely be back to try...
