Normally I have a great experience here and never have an complaint on anything. The customer service is always on point and the food is amazing but today was different. When I walked in it was as if they didn't want to greet or service, I looked over it because I know some people have days. I was seated but the energy was as if they was only being kind because they was forced to. The man who served me,( Server JJ243) gave me the vibe as if Black people aren't allowed in there at a certain time or something. I am still not trying to read as much h in it. As soon as he returned my food within 4 mins her brought my ticket as he wanted me to hurry and eat. He also avoided to check in on me and when he seen I was still eating he rolled his eyes and walked off. His whole demeanor was offensive and he was not professional at all. I didn't want to get a refill or anything who knows what he may have done. This was the worse experience I have ever had here and I love this place but that waiter was the worse and he made thus restaurant look as if they aren't fond of Black people. I hate to play the race card because I never try to have that mind set at all but if this is how some people feel when they go in place and feel unwelcome this isterrible feeling. May God Bless this man .. I will never...
Read moreWe came to Southern Hills and El Jimidor on Alkay Drive from Western Hills (such a far drive /s :) ) because when we went by Ramirez on Pines they had 2 or 3 groups of people waiting outside.
Even though when we pulled up and asked, they said "the wait's only 15 minutes!" I love Ramirez Mexican restaurant on pines. Please don't get me wrong but when it's 95° outside at 7:30 p.m., 15 minutes is too long for me.
Yeah we could have gone to Nicky's on Westport. But something told us to go on down the inner loop. And it was not a wrong decision at all.
I had the chimichanga Balboa for the first time. I can't even remember what my husband had. My food was so good! The fajita steak pieces were small but delectably flavored. Perhaps because the Chimi Balboa also blends chicken and shrimp together, as well. Like a flavor explosion in the mouth! Also they have just the very best salsa! I could just drink it from the little individual serving jar :-)
I'm almost kind of glad our plans got changed. Because it gave me a chance to remember, and also to give the reminder that El Jimador on Alkay drive in South Shreveport is still awesome! Oh and we had zero wait and our choice of where to sit even at 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night! Cuz they have a large dining room :-)
GO! YOU WILL NOT BE...
Read moreHorrible, disrespectful service. I placed an order at this restaurant about an hour ago and asked my father to pick up the food. When he went there they had they had no order for him.
I spoken to a woman earlier that placed the order, said when it would be ready, and the amount of said order. Someone at this restaurant called my father back and said his order was ready. My mother spoke with that person and said along lines that he had been there earlier and he was told we don’t have an order under his name.
Instead of admitting fault and apologizing the person that spoke with my mother said they were blocking his number and that we were not to order from them again.
I haven’t even been to this establishment before and I clearly won’t be going after this. What kind of service is this and how could you speak to a...
