DEEP SIGH where do I even start smh?!
Ok so I was initially excited to go check out this spot as it’s back in town and the crawfish always looks juicy and well seasoned. Unfortunately, the experience we had was unreal. Initially, we saw on Friday Darius post on his instagram that the Super Bowl crawfish special would be 3lbs for $20. By Sunday that post had been deleted and I should’ve known then it would be some BS.
He’d continued to promote that they’d be open at 4p ready to go on Sunday. Midday on Sunday he posted a story on his social stating again that they’d be open at 4p but crawfish would now be ready at 5p. We get to the restaurant at 5p only for a young lady outside to tell us that they have an hr hold on the crawfish as they are backed up. We proceed inside to the counter to order and get more details where it was formally confirmed that the kitchen was backed up on crawfish and was not taking anymore crawfish orders until they got caught back up. How were you already back up on crawfish orders at 5p if they weren’t ready until 5p?
They two ladies behind the bar kept quoting “an hr wait on crawfish” but I noticed no one had no real way of tracking that so it would in fact be way longer than an hr!
Both ladies stated that if you wanted to place an order for food other than crawfish it would come out quicker and you would not have to wait an hr for crawfish. WRONG!
We put in a catfish plate order and didn’t get it until OVER AN HR later.
To make matters worse, it was after 7 when we were finally able to put in our original crawfish order only for the staff to sell our crawfish to other customers and sell out before we got ours AFTER we had paid for it.
The lady who took our orders wrote “3pd” with our corresponding names and the kitchen took that as a 3pc catfish dinner. Why was this not clarified with the kitchen to prevent this error?!
Vincell (I think was his name) came over again to apologize and either offer a refund or “pick whatever we wanted from the menu”. My sis chose the refund, I chose to get something to eat as mind yall, I had not eaten anything and had been there since 5p (the previously ordered and received catfish plate was my sister’s not mine).
I received my food which is pictured below and everything tasted great, but to have to deal with horrible customer service from staff, horrendous wait times and overall disorganization is pathetic. Soft opening or not, this business should have been prepared. Other crawfish places were well prepared and did not run out of crawfish so early on even though it was Super Bowl Sunday. We took a huge risk and tried this restaurant as opposed to patronizing one of our fave’s and it backfired.
I will not and cannot recommend this establishment to anyone as there are serval other local businesses that are worth patronizing during crawfish season.

The fund raiser was very unorganized and then they didn’t have the food ready until about 9pm for an event that started at 7pm on top of that we had to fight over getting a plate basically (not literally fight, disclosure place did feel safe for sure will give them that). The people that hosted the event should have had a better process for the food and not skipping people waiting to give food to thier friends first. I blame management since they should have had a serving plan. The crawfish taste like I ordered it from up north so meaning BLAND, my juice water was clear so you know not seasoned. The corn had not one speck of seasoning on it and then they left off my potatoes. The drink machine was not frozen and took over an hour to get ready. Again they needed better planning and preparation if hosting an event. I mean we paid in advance so should have been aware of how many people to expect. The food was top notch, I had stuffed shrimp and my daughters had the shrimp boil: uhm these were both AMAZING!!
