Tasty Creme Donuts — Restaurant in Shreveport

Oh, dear !! Just what I need - a delicious donut shop just down the road from my house !! I am yryna cut back on my sweets, and they are not making it easy !! 😍😍

Located in Huntington Plaza, corner of Pines and Buncomb, and it's easy to get to. The parking lot is huuuuge. It's a strip mall, so it can easily handle larger vehicles and trailers.

The shop is small, but very welcoming ! There are a coupla tables inside if you wanna sit for a few and cool down whilst you enjoy your donuts and drinks ! Good selection of drinks, too, too go with your donuts !!

I only like a coupla basic donuts - glazed, cream filled, and eclairs. I grew up on Dunkin ( being from the North). DD have gone down hill over the last few years. Even their "filled" donuts barely have a bite size of filling - very disappointing.

Tasty Creme actually FILLS their cream filled donuts !! Not only are the donuts fresh, they fill them to order. Don't have to worry about them running out of your faves !!

I highly recommend checking them out ! I know I'll be back ! I'll be over that way next week for the driving school anyway, so I predict more donuts are...

I knocked a star off due to the inconvenience. I had discovered these donuts from work. There's a doctor that buys donuts every Friday. The box it came in said 'You Deserve a Donut'. I wondered where these were from and somebody told me it was this location.

Taste Creme Donuts is about 13 minutes away. So, I have to really burn gas to get there. The first attempt, I discovered they were on vacation. I should have called the store. The second attempt, I called the store to assure they were open. They answered. I burn gas again to get there, but they were out of glazed donuts. That was all I wanted. By the second attempt, I was starting to give up on ever bother coming back.

The third attempt, I called and asked if they had glazed. They did, but I was afraid by the time I would get there, they would run out. I asked if orders over the phone were allowed. A guy switched to the phone and asked what I wanted. I said a dozen glazed. I get there, and the order wasn't ready at all. I just asked and was given what I asked, plus, something extra.

Service was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for these...

On the cool they’re really better than southern maid. I know it’s cliche to compare them to The known donut place but Their donuts are soo good not gooey on the inside like southern. The ppl are nice and they try to cater to what you want. Like the burritos… they so Gahh damn good! One day I was like if these were crispy on the outside they would be perfect…. Tell me WHY TF I go in there THE NEXT DAY…. NEXT DAMN DAY…. Not next week, month nahhh NEXT DAY ….. got my jimmy dean sausage, egg & cheese burrito 🌯 AND THAT MUHFUCKA WAS CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE! They didn’t warn me or nothing! Just gave me what I wanted unlike any man I’ve known. So yea! This my donut shop now. And they got hella drinks… not just the basics....
