Pepperoni Express — Restaurant in Shrewsbury

Normally we love pepperoni express, this is our first time with a poor experience. We pre-ordered for 630pm for the Super Bowl knowing it could be late and we wouldn’t care. My boyfriend started snow blowing our very long driveway at 530pm so they could get up- they called 9 times between 530 and 540pm with the last voicemail being “we will never come back to you” my boyfriend didn’t have his phone on because he was snow blowing and we weren’t expecting food till 630. When they came up our driveway at 545pm we accepted and gave a 20% cash tip to a female who was in the passenger side, a male was driving. Food was excellent we thought nothing of it being early. At 915pm we received a call from a male with a similar voice to the voicemails asking how our food was- which food was great! They also asked if we left a tip- which we did give $6 cash for a $37 meal- they claimed it was not received. We never thought to say anything about the customer service until writing this review. you guys never listen when someone asks for a pizza well done. i have to finish cooking it in my oven at home. i dont enjoy picking up a slice and all the cheese and sauce slides off again. the sauce is lacking flavor its just sweet. no seasoning. the cheese leaves a puddle of oil in the box and is just a mess to deal with. its as if the pizza bread is cut but all the cheese stays melted together and you have to either pick up the slice improperly or it all falls off. its just a cheese pizza . ive had only 1 good pizza out of maybe 12 from here. idk why you guys cant listen to basics. pizza WELL DONE. the only reason i go is because my family wants to support u guys. just listen well done is slightly burnt or at least brown. and not this soggy flavorless stuff. common. you have also told me you deliver then expect me to pick it up without saying anything. im not some mind reader. learn to communicate with...

I've been to this place a handful of times. Always great pizza! Up until the last time I ordered, I had pretty good service. This time, not so much. I ordered a split topping pizza, but upon returning home noticed that my order was incorrect. I called and offered to return the pizza and order a new one. Well, I was informed that they had already turned off the ovens (an hour before closing time). I was told to just keep the pizza and call back the next day to get a free pizza in return. The next evening I call back to order, and the employee tells me that I get a pizza for only half price (according to her notes). The man I spoke to the previous night either lied to his employees and to me, or had forgotten what he had promised. The moral here is to either skip this place completely as they will not fullfil a promise to their customers, or make sure you double check before...
