Okay women in Lycra outfits is a draw. But after the initial visual impression of over makeup using young ladies, the rest of the experience was less than deserving a return visit.
While they did have a good $13 all you can eat chicken wing special (every Tuesday evening 5pm) the wings were good, but the sauces were too much, too sweet and heavy. Would likely suggest just plain wings in the future. The cost of the meal for two people was almost $40. The atmosphere was bright and pleasant, though a bit boisterous. (99% of the customers were males a good portion of those were grouped together at large tables all looking at laptop screen as they were playing some sporting/betting activity. The few male-female couples were definitely the minority.
Ordered Iced Tea as a beverage and it was just NASTY. A powdered (not brewed) concoction that tasted like it came from a can. Nothing close to what Iced Tea should be, I could to stomach it and ordered the Lemonade to replace it.
Parking was plentiful though the lot was rather full (see above note about multitudes of screen staring males). I would return if I fancied a look at a Lycra outfitted young lady, but for a night out for wings I will be returning to the Buffalo Wild Wings that is just a few minutes East on Rt9.
If you are into the betting activity that was underway I guess this is your kind of place. If not, well thee are other eateries in the area that are a bit less expensive and a bit more...
Read moreI find it very important to have a business that reflects diversity or attends to a diverse population. Though hooters occasionally has attentive staff and staff who are polite, Vanessa Thuo was a great model of diversity and was a great representive. I enjoyed my time at Hooters whenever she was present and working and she gave the atmosphere a very loving and enjoyable vibe! I find it very strange that the only black girl was fired and I think there needs to be a dispute or a further look into the management team to hire more like Vanessa. I believe the management should take into consideration the love customers have for Vanessa rather than being quick to Terminate for reasons that could easily be remediate sand learned from.
I no longer have a drive to go to Hooters, and I believe it’s a concern for a business that serves a vast majority of diverse customers to lack diversity in their own staffing. Please take a step back before firing your hardworking, black loving employees (that you no longer have) and be empathetic and resemble leadership qualities.
I leave my review with critical words and food for thought. Which is, there is a difference between management and leadership. Managers should show leadership qualities and consider multiple perspectives rather than a one sided view that can easily come off Capitalistic. No a place where I would want to...
Read moreWent in on Sunday night football so obviously my mistake there. Ordered a chicken caesar salad with mahi-mahi substituted and after about 30-45 minutes of a wait was greeted with 4-5 croutons, possibly 30 grams of mahi-mahi (3-4 pieces the size of the croutons) and a fist and half full of ice berg lettuce. The bartender was more than eager on my behalf to get more mahi-mahi (I mean for the extra four dollars I'm spending at a rough conversion it'd be 60 dollars a pound at what I was given.) I left frustrated before they could get me the other couple pieces of mahi-mahi since I had finished my salad and waited so long as it was. Obviously, this place isn't known for their salads but, really disappointed--at the rate of service I got they should probably just get rid of salads all together.
Final analysis: Bartender = True contender and willing to fight for the customer Sunday Night Football = Obviously expect a lot of wait for your food Salads = Don't get them here Mahi-mahi = Obviously there's crack lining the fish because at the price/gram they're roughly charging it's about 60...
