First review I’ve left. My family and I came here because we frequent the area and wanted to see the uniqueness of an Indian egg-focused dine-in eatery. And I left feeling obligated — truly — to warn people who are interested in the welcoming and pleasant looking exterior that what lies inside will inevitably be a disappointing overall experience. I won’t complain of the whole menu, but of the dishes we ordered, none maintained a level that would remotely compel anyone to finish a full plate. The pani puri was fine (no feasible way to go below expectations there), but the desi omelette, the malai tikka, rasa bhurji, and the lachko were disgusting. The picture attached should showcase the visual oddity that was put in front of me (and my family). The dishes were more liquidy than over-watered Ramen noodles, and what they lacked in appeal to the eyes, they doubled down on with a horrible lack of flavor. The smells emanating from each plate were of dirt (legitimately — no exaggeration), raw onions, cold tomatoes, and expired ginger. None of these plates were finished. In our attempt to find a good dish, we ordered bhurji pulav. Our disappointment was exceeded by an overwhelming fear of being poisoned. The taste was of pure plastic, and it left an unpleasant flavor that remained very unwelcome. We left shortly after. I’ve heard rumors of the company leaving fake reviews to attract customers, so I must advise others to be weary of something odd going on behind closed doors.

If you have any allergies beware, receipt states the allergies clearly. I'm allergic to gluten and dairy. I repeated the allergies multiples times, he spoke to the kitchen, but then served the entrée with a side of Raita (which when questioned he said yes it had yogurt). Adding an update 24 hours later, my allergies kicked in not sure if it was dairy, gluten or all the spice but my tummy sure wasn't happy the next day. I had ordered mild (less spicy is on the receipt), I'm Caucasian (really white now in the dead of winter with green eyes and no pigmentation in my skin) and can handle more spice than a lot of my friends I wasn't able to eat half the meal it was too spicy. When asked what I thought I said it was too spicy, response was they make it in the morning and it has been marinating for a while. The receipt says 2:40pm, so does that mean if I arrive at 11am it won't be too spicy? And yes the reviewer who stated sales tax at 13% is correct I hadn't noticed that. I did notice the tip amounts were higher than normal and entered my own manually, it is counter service. Checked a receipt from Terra Brasilis they charged 7% sales tax, checked online and it sure appears the correct meal sales tax for Shrewsbury is 7%.

I enjoyed my dinner here and will be back. This is a fast-casual restaurant that seems more Americanized Indian cuisine and focuses on Indian street food. They have mainly vegetarian dishes with a heavy emphasis on egg dishes as you can imagine by their name. There are some meat dishes as well though. Service was fast, it was clean and the ambiance was nice. They opened at the beginning of 2024. This isn’t the place if you’re wanting a super authentic home cooked Indian meal, but I would go here when wanting a dine in experience something like Chipotle, Halal Guys or Five guys. Samosa Chaat (5 stars) was really good and I thought the price was very reasonable. The tamarind gave a nice saucy tangy flavor and I liked the pieces of Samosa in it. It is maybe better as an appetizer to share but could be a whole meal for someone. Some friends from India thought it was a good replica of the authentic street food chaat in India. The green egg rice (4 stars) was also good, but would look to try something instead of it next time. It was a large serving with a lot of rice, but there could have been more in the rice. Mango Lassi was good, pretty standard quality, and not overly sweet.

Tried again after many months to give a shot 3rd time.

Ordered a dabeli. Around $8-9. It felt like dabeli masala was not fresh and turns out no peanut in it. So I just talked front desk person that, "Hey, do you not include peanut in it?" Answer was "Yes,we do". Then, I said "I didnt have any in my 2 Dabelis"

Real answer from that person who works saturday was "Ame to nakhie j chie pn naa avyu e tamara naseeb (we do add it but it was not indabeli is your luck)"

Are you guys serious about customer service?

Dabeli at least has 10% peanut content. If customer is giving feedback, it should be politely considered instead of such replies.

Also, I would appreciate it in wrap to have in house made paratha instead of Kawan or Swad Malaysian frozen paratha's.

Visited this place a month ago, the quality of food was awesome, upto the mark.

Again went yesterday, food came super quick faster than McDonald's but quality seems to be deteriorating exponentially.

For Dahi Puri, its super delicious, highly recommended

For Paneer Gotalo, not well cooked, no feel of gotalo gravy, was like paneer tikka tangy red gravy of canned tomato puree with spices and grated paneer.

For Paneer Toofani Sandwich, detail was it includes fried paneer. However it was just raw plain paneer in some spicy sauce.

Surprised to see such change. I would rather wait for cooked good food instead of getting this kind of food in less...
