This location is for carry out or delivery only. It's primarily a kitchen. So I can't really rate the atmosphere. However, I CAN say that the employee behind the counter was less than helpful. In order to give a full review on this visit, we have to go back about a month to the 1st time we had a Papa Johns Pizza delivered . . .
After some difficulty placing my order online, we finally got it. Just a large specialty pizza. Simple. Watching their neat little online order tracker, we could follow the progress. It got all the way up to where they should have been boxing it - then it jumped back to 'Making your pizza'! By this time it had already been 25 mins. One full hour and 6 mins later, our pizza arrived. Barely warm at that. (we're less than 2 miles from the restaurant) Still, we tipped the driver bc a driver often has no involvement in the process other than delivery. We chalked it up to it being a busy night, and ate our warm pizza. It tasted pretty good, the order was correct. 2 weeks later, tried again. This time it was only 58 mins from order to door. The driver told us he was actually the store manager and apologized as they were very busy, he refused the tip. Pizza was NOT good that night! About a week later we received 2 postcards from Papa Johns announcing "We can do better - give us another chance", in the mail. Each were coupons for a 'free medium cheese pizza' (Carry out only)! Really? - Ok, I get it . . . A medium sized 'base pizza' + extra for any toppings. Thought we'd try it ONE LAST TIME! After I spent a good 20 mins trying to place the order online, neither coupon code would work. I kept getting error messages. I get in my car and drive down there. The kid at the counter tells me that he has no way to process the coupons on his end, it has to be done online or in the app! Then walks away! I sat down with my phone and tried again. Still - 'error'. At this point, I was VERY frustrated and wanted to scream! I stood at the counter waiting for the kid to come back and help me on my phone. After several minutes, I laid both coupons on top of the register . . . and . . walked . . out.

Read moreGetting bad lately. Wednesday ordered a pizza got an estimate of 22-26 minutes. Ordered dozens of times with the time not being an issue. Called 45 minutes later and the guy tells me the driver left with the order after mine and there’s been no others and that my order had been out for “well... more than 10 to 12 minutes.” So I talk to the manager. She starts to say it just came out but couldn’t explain why it took 45 minutes. She back peddles when I tell her what the guy who answered the phone said. She then says delivery got busy. Then back peddles when I tell her what the guy says and admits there was only one. I ask what is going to be done about this. She says she “whenever the driver gets back they’ll get it out.” So I explain by then I’ll be receiving a cold pizza that had been out of the oven for about an hour. She says “nothing else I can do.” So with that management failure I had her cancel my order. I am not sure what is going on but friendly or not in store papa johns has serious management issues and this has become habit. If not this it’s cold delivery, missing items or smashed chicken. I Called Papa Johns "CUSTOMER SERICE" Spoke to Rep.Jeremiah, the first thing I said was would it be possible to cancel my order which he said yes, but never bothered to ask if there was something wrong or what made me cancel the order.
There’s a lot more but I really don’t feel like wasting my time doing this review as I’m not the kind of person that will give reviews even with bad experiences.BUT this kind of customer service is unacceptable from a manager and a customer service rep.
P.S All I wanted was an additional side of sauce that has been provided Numerous of times throughout the years but apparently she could not provide me with it
