I will never eat at the Dairy Queen here in town again! I met my daughter there tonight. We were going to get dessert & just have some one on one time to catch up. She had just gotten off work & was still in uniform. Her work gives all the employees a to go box of food when the night is over. She hadn't had a chance to eat yet as she had come straight from work to the Dairy Queen. We sat at the table talking while she ate her chicken wrap. When she was done we went to the counter to order. The guy "Calvin" refused to serve us because she had other food she brought in with her. I told him he should have walked over to let us know that was their policy & he said "why because we were just going to do whatever we wanted". I looked all around that store & there was not a sign stating this at all. When I asked for the owner's information he printed off a receipt from the cash register & circled their address & phone #.
I'm all for following rules & policies but if I don't know what they are then how can I. If he had come over & politely told us we could not bring in other food we would have gladly complied! Instead he let us sit there the whole time & then treated us horribly when we didn't even know we did anything wrong!
I will be filing a complaint tomorrow & talking to the owner. Then still will not...

On July 2, I made a purchase for 2.75, but when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed I had been charged $9.53. I did not get a receipt because I did not ask for one. Went back the next day and talked to the manager. The manager had me wait about 45 minutes while she checked the cameras to see what I had received in my order (an ice cream cone). She verified that they had screwed up and told me that she had refunded me. I inquired as to why I wasn't given a receipt, and was told that receipts are given only when requested. So 15 days later and no refund, I've had to waste more time and file a fraudulent charge against DQ with the credit card company. So know I'm thinking DQ doesn't give receipts out because they over charge on a regular basis, of course after reading this I'll get the "We're sorry line" for the "mistake". Is it really a mistake? It baffles me how a business can commit theft and get...

I went through drive thu, the person taking my order seemed to have an attitude while I put in an order for me and my kids, at the window the Sunday I ordered looked like melted ice cream just smashed with chocolate, it was set on the counter closest to the window, it sat there until maybe a minute before my order came out , the minute it wasn't sitting out it was put into a freezer, when it was retrieved out of the freezer given to me the freezer was left open, another passing employee walked by it to close it while I was given an incomplete order, and while I was waiting for ice cream (I ended up throwing away) the person behind me still waiting at the menu board left and so did the person after them. I love DQ and am sad the one on fry is closing, I hope they step up in all areas and it may be a while before I consider giving them...
