My family and I were on vacation from Montana to Sarasota. We stumbled upon the Dive after several failed attempts to find a decent bar (due to cigarette smoke ) and we found this gem. We just love it. James, Michael and Cole hooked us up with the best craft cocktails and at a fraction of our costs in Montana. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely keep coming back. Ask Michael about his custom tequila cocktail my daughter loved it, you will not be disappointed ! And I think perhaps I have found the best Old Fashioned ever made with the Duck fat washed Bourbon, My son assures me the Mai Tai is magnificent. Would never have guessed that the best Mai Tai I’ve ever had would be served in the back of a liquor store in a retro four-years-old, not-quite-speakeasy in Sarasota, Florida. I’ve had Mai Tais in Hawaii, San Francisco, Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, Caribbean islands, cruise shops and abroad… The fresh bruised mint aroma piqued my senses follwed by a perfectly balanced Goldilocks Mai Tai - all the rum and citrus, and a hint of syrup. Mmmmmm…. And dont get me started on the Monkey Business with banana liquor whipped cream! James the bartender...

Finding this place was an absolute treat. The atmosphere was fabulous. I would expect that the bartender would fit the atmosphere. Apparently you need to know exactly which brand of alcohol you want to have in a mixed drink. I asked for a drink and was told...which one do you want as he pointed to 60 bottles of rum. I said I don't know...a decent one. The response was well some of them are 20$ an ounce. At that point I asked for a beer. Perhaps I don't understand the rules of a speakeasy that has a unpersonable...
