Houchin's Ice Cream & Donuts — Restaurant in Sikeston

Probably one of the best places in Sikeston under its new ownership. The new owners expanded the menu, the operating hours, and renovated nearly the entire place.

The staff is great as always and the doughnuts put Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts to shame by a long shot.

Prices are fair in my opinion. Doughnut holes are 12¢ each, Bavarian creme Long Johns are 99¢ each. There are a lot of selections as far as different kinds of doughnuts as well as some unique in-house creations. Prices vary per doughnut type but from my quick glance at the menu, the Bavarian ones at 99¢ were as expensive as it comes and most were much less.

Store was very clean and tidy. Chairs and tables were nice too.

Only negative I'd say is that there is much less parking than would be required if the place was even...

10/10, best donuts I’ve had in a while! The staff was super sweet and cordial and helped us pick out the best donuts they had (since it was our first time), and even gave us a bonus two donuts for the road. Definitely made our day! Stopped in after lunch for a malt and the donuts smelled incredible. Grabbed a couple malts and half dozen donuts and left. The malts were top notch. But the donuts...the donuts were awesome!! Wish they weren't 130 miles from my house or we'd be regulars for sure. Next time we are any where near them we will make an...
