Tough review to write because I really, really want to like this establishment. The food tastes fresh and delicious, but the portions simply aren't large enough for the price. The burgers are really pretty small and not filling at all. The ice cream, however, was very good and fairly priced. I ordered a small Reese's cyclone and thought it was great. My wife ordered a peanut butter shake, but it was really more like a concrete. She had to eat it with a spoon, even though they provided a large straw.

Probably would have gone with 4 stars except for one very annoying quirk: Napkins are kept behind the counter and are nowhere to be found on the tables or in the dining area. My wife went to ask for more, but as there were only two very busy employees trying to keep up with the workload and a growing line of customers, she finally had to go to the restroom and just grab some paper towels. I understand trying to be conservative with supplies, but napkins really are a basic necessity that ought to be readily available.

Bottom line: the ice cream is worth the stop, but the food portion sizes will probably prevent me from returning on a regular basis. And that's a shame, because the atmosphere is great, restaurant is clean, service is friendly, and pride of...

I have always loved Babette’s Dairyette. However, after I discovered that my order was incorrect and that there is, for some unknown reason, no basket for the vegeburger after I ordered three, my love of the former mom and pop restaurant has greatly subsided. I don’t mind paying good money for good food. But I do mind not being told that the basket no longer exists for the vegeburger. When I spoke with management they told me I misunderstood their menu. The vegeburger is in the midst of all the other burgers which has the notification below them that the burgers come as a basket that also includes fries and a small drink. However, apparently, the burger has to have an asterisk next to it in order to be a basket. The advertising is not clear and the person taking the order also didn’t make it clear there was no combo/basket. The managers just kept repeating that I had misunderstood. So since I have to pay approximately 2x the cost of a basket in order to have a vegeburger I guess I will go to Calahans which has a comparable vegeburger that does come...

Well disappointed got a country breakfast, $7.19 +tax you get 1 biscuit cut in half, 3 slices of bacon, 2eggs no potatoes, barely enough gravy to cover biscuit 😔 then served in a to go container made of recycled cardboard 😳 and just toss in cardboard container who does that? Food was stuck to the cardboard 🤮 Not the servers fault she was very kind, but this is overpriced & sloppy made food served in a container that in no ways made food to be put in! If you cut your eggs they would leech into the container & they were stuck anyway!!!! Whoever does the cooking needs to eat the food, they need lessons! Wasn’t fit for animals, This was the one on hwy 412, Springdale (sonora) really doesn’t deserve any stars! Won’t last long serving food & priced like this! we were there...

One of the best classic style old fashioned hamburgers I've ever had. My wife had a malt that she absolutely loved. I had one of their cyclones that was absolutely to die for even the kids. Nuggets and fries were excellent nuggets and the Chipotle Burger is amazing. Everything just runs out of the center of the meat. How it was cooked in. This is a hidden gem and the in two employees that were there worked like the best well-oiled machine I have ever seen. It only took two of them to cook. Run the dairy side run. The register restaurant was spotless taking care of large amounts of to-go orders and not forgetting to say hi to every patron and nobody waited at the register. Any business can learn from them!!!

Talk about memories from days gone by. I experienced it today at Barnett's Dairyette . Now, things have changed a little since the first time I was there in the seventies, but since June 3nd 1957, they have remained the same, which is great quality & quantity meals . It was differently a trip down memory lane shared & enjoyed with my husband. I loved sharing that my sister & I came here because we didn't have a lot of money & we could share the hamburger and fries because they were huge . Lots of fun going down some memory lanes !

The atmosphere was great! It gave you a small home town feel. Like, i could envision kids gathering after a football game for burgers and shakes. The burgers were in my top 5 for non chain burgers so far (won't say here my number one). The hand cut fries needed salt and my wife and I normally don't add additional salt to our fries. Actually, until last night we never have. The hot fudge brownie was pretty good, just not enough brownie. Overall, we enjoyed this cute historic Dairyette, and will go back again for little date nights.
