Siloam Springs Museum — Attraction in Siloam Springs

I had such a pleasant visit today. It was the day after a big snowstorm, so I wasn't sure if they would be open, but luckily for me, they opened up. The docent was so pleasant and knowledgeable, he expanded on what was displayed in the museum. Unlike many hometown museums, this one doesn't put out every piece of junk that is given to it. Instead they focus on a few interesting items each with great stories behind them. Plan on 20 minutes if you just walk through, upwards of an hour if you do some chitchat with the volunteers...

Only discovered this museum this week even after several visits to this area. Went in and met a couple of lovely people working there. The gentleman who gave us a tour, provided interesting information and answered our questions about the area. I definitely recommend stopping by there if you have an interest in history.
