The Highland Park Shopping Center is one our town's older but some upgraded and competitive - open, up and running, active business center's. The shopping center has a nice, locally owned print shop called Copy Connections and Design. There is also a newer store where the sign says Digital Java, though I am not sure if they serve coffee or electronics... someone else help out here! Moving along, there is a Subway location that is very clean, always friendly and has a good, decently healthy menu. After that, there's your reliable Radio Shack outfit that has probably been there for about as long as any store. I don't know every shop there, and they've been around long enough to see a number of businesses come and go, but likely the last on my list from this center is the Goodwill Store, Donation and Career Center. I am a fan of theirs since they help local patrons find jobs by helping further their education, updating their resumé or job training and other employment assistance and help as well.
