Myself and my party of three were here on a Thursday in mid-afternoon, for an early dinner/quiet celebration. I will first review the overall service and experience at this location, which includes the reasons for my rating of four stars. It was fairly empty upon arrival, but a few other parties showed up over the duration of our visit, which was clearly overwhelming to the only server on the floor, and understandably so. One party left after some time; apparently they weren't so understanding. The server seemed to be new, as she wasn't sure of a few items as she took orders from us and other customers... but she did her best, and that always counts - we all have to learn. I noticed the floor hadn't been swept in quite sometime, nor had some tables been cleared off... but this was after we were seated and overheard another employee stating our table was clean as we passed ones that were not. That same employee did sweep up and clear a couple of nearby tables at some point, but she left the broom and dustpan propped up where it stuck out into the aisle... not the smartest idea, as our server was walking in that area often and could have tripped on it - but I digress. Ordering wasn't an issue, nor was the wait time between being seated, getting drinks, and the server coming back to see if we were ready to order after drinks had been served (we needed more time to decide). She did have to come back to let us know they didn't have a specific bread one of us requested, but that wasn't an issue, as most places don't have it. The length of time in which it took to receive our food, was appropriate. However, she apologized for one of our toast orders being burnt and stated the toaster got too hot. No reflection on her, but how the kitchen allowed that to be sent out is beyond me. That member of our party didn't request new toast, though, but he isn't a complainer. lol. She did state the names of the omelettes the other member of our party and myself had chosen, as she set them down... but upon a closer look, I realized they were swapped. No big deal, and I wouldn't have said a word to her about it, but she had come back right as we were switching and I felt so bad that she noticed. I even told her it wasn't an issue when she apologized, because it wasn't. I'm not one to nitpick, either. lol. We were missing an item, but didn't realize until she left... and we didn't see her again until we were nearly finished with our meals, to be able to let her know. However, when we did let her know, she apologized and brought out the missing item quickly, along with the check. The receipt didn't reflect us having ordering the item that ended up missing, so we had them add it upon paying for our meal. I left our server an over 30% tip with my card payment, and I hope it got to her. She was a sweet girl, and she was doing great despite being swamped with online orders and the small flood of customers coming in - which is why we didn't hold it against her when she didn't check on us for quite some time. The employee that handled our payment was friendly and efficient. As for the food: aside from the burnt toast, the overall quality was perfect. Our meals were fresh, delicious, and made well. My omelette was missing the item I'd asked to be removed, which was very much appreciated. The missing item arrived to our table fresh, as well. Portion size was on point, as we all finished our food without being overly full or unsatisfied. Given the circumstances in which we find ourselves in this crazy world of covid, it's completely understandable that restaurants are having trouble finding employees. We shouldn't be so hard on them for things out of their control, and we should be more patient and understanding when we have to wait a bit longer than what is typical. That being said, this wasn't as bad of an experience as some reviewers think they had, and we would definitely come back. Thank you, Denny's!

When we arrived there were people waiting but plenty of open tables. I couldn't understand why they weren't seating people? I knew it wasn't because they would go over their allotted Covid percentage. They had those table blocked off in the back. When we finally got seated, there were 14 people in the restaurant. Some eating and some waiting for their orders. It took our waitress 5 minutes to take a drink order. There were only 14 people in the whole restaurant. It took 20 minutes to cook the food. There were only 14 people in the restaurant in different stages of eating & waiting for their food. After bringing us our food, we never saw the waitress (Heather R.) again, for the rest of the meal! She did have plenty of time to go out for a cigarette though!! Our glasses needed refilling, but her cigarette was way more important. I like Dennys but this one will not be on my list for a return visit. I can only attribute the piss poor efficiency of the cook and lack of attention from the waitress on bad training. That's a management issue that needs to be addressed.

We were seated after waiting about 15 minutes, not a big deal. Order was taken and we waited. After about 45 minutes of waiting, the waitress, who wore her mask under her chin the entire time, comes over to tell us her manager told her to come give us an update on our orders, telling us that we're behind 4 other sets of orders and offers us some salads. Finally got our orders 1hr and 10min after being seated. Food was good, but the overall experience was extremely underwhelming. When we received our bill, there were no modifications. We paid full price for food we waited for over an hour for.

I never give bad reviews but tonight my family and I had the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. This is disheartening to say the least. We were seated and forgotten about. Three tables were seated after us and was tended to and got their orders taken before us, ate their food and left two minutes after we were served our food. Two of the tables were attended to because they all new each other. To me a business should give the same attention to all customers. We waited for over forty-five minutes to get our order taken. The server did not check on us a single time other than bringing our meals and drinks. We were there for over two and a half hours and only twenty minutes of which were to eat. We have given this particular Denny's more than one chance to redeem the past bad service experiences. It is hard for me to give a restaurant or a server a bad review because I know sometimes it is out of their control but this was ridiculous. There were maybe ten tables at the most. My children were asking to leave before our order was even taken. Which says something!!! I hate to say this because I have always given places plenty of chances but this time was to much. This particular Denny's lost a family of five as customers. I had to ask the manager to get somebody to take our food order when we finally got tired of waiting. The server we had was unknowledgeable, forgetful, and in my opinion was not cut out to be a server which I hate to say. He did not even know what was on the kids menu which they were out of and when he asked the other server she didn't completely know either. I hate to see businesses close in our community but if management doesn't step up and address their servers shortcomings then this business is doomed and certain to fail. I did send in a complaint to corporate so hopefully these concerns...

Nice place, nice food, mostly nice people. I just hate when I have to go in there as a doordash driver. Typically I get put to the very end of the line no matter if I came in 10 minutes before the people behind me that could take him before me. Then every now and then I get a waitress wants to give me lip, like it doesn't matter if I'm a customer at any other time when I'm there as a doordash driver they forget about customer etiquette. The most servers are very nice. It's just a few.

Update on Denny's service. As soon as I get a little busy nobody's friendly to the DoorDash driver. Plus God forbid there's a smoothie or something on the order then I have to wait another 15 or 20 minutes. Then he seems to figure out a better system for every Denny's I've ever been to or ever had the door dash for it's chaotic there's a couple people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Many more people standing around doing nothing and then at least two or three more employees out back smoking. Again for some reason the doordasher usually gets treated like the red-headed stepchild that they get to whenever they like. I will not accept any more orders from Denny's it's too ridiculous and it just gives me a headache every time. The food does smell delicious and the managers are usually really nice. That's about all the nice stuff I have to say...
