Taste of Vegas — Restaurant in Silver City

My husband and I tried out Taste of Vegas after reading great reviews about it. We were looking for a good place for lunch and that is what we got! We sat inside because it was so hot out, but they do offer outdoor patio eating space that I believe is covered. Their menu consists of cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, salads, wraps, burritos, pizza, drinks, and smoothies. I got a turkey and avocado lettuce wrap. That came with totilla chips and yummy guacamole. I got a tall glass of ice water with slices of orange, lime, cucumber, and a sprig of mint...which was so refreshing on a hot day. My husband got a steak burrito and tortillo chips and salsa...and he took half of it home. The staff was very friendly, the food was ready quickly, and the place was very clean. We would definitely go there again, or grab something when we're out and take it home! If you haven't tried their food...

Would rate zero stars if i could. I ordered a turkey wrap with no avacado and wrapped in lettuce instead of a tortilla. My husband ordered a turkey avacado melt. It took us an HOUR to get our food, and that was only after we reminded them that we were sitting there and that four people who ordered after us got their food before us. He also had to take our order a second time? When we finally got our food it was a major disappointment. The wrap had nothing but avacado and a very small amount of turkey and no lettuce wrap. The melt was very obviously microwaved and very mushy like it had just been sitting there for the whole hour. The chips were stale and chewy. Very disappointing for something we waited an hour for. Will not go back...

I was the only customer and had to wait a long time for my take out order. The people that work there are very nice and pleasant so I didn’t mind waiting. I ordered a $10.00 Panini’ for my husband and an $8,45 sw hot turkey sandwich for myself. There were 2 very small sides of quacomole for 1.25 each and chips. When I got the food home the food was quite disappointing and a rip off! Both sandwiches were on hamburger buns and greasy. Not exactly a panini! Generally if I am dissatisfied I don’t post anything.
