My husband and I were visiting from out of town recently, I saw all the reviews for this place and most were positive, we were hungry and decided to stop! From the time we stepped inside there was quite definitely a weird vibe! My husband ordered the Pittsburgh Pizza and I the spaghetti with meatballs! We were hungry and was looking forward to our food, what a joke! The blonde waitress was so rude, tried to be nice, but while observing you could see just how fake she was! When she took the order, I was offered no salad or soup, which I thought was strange! She brought the bread, we had no silverware so asked politely for that! She picked some up from the next table and literally slammed it down on our table, my husband and I just looked at each other and said what the heck?? Our food was quickly brought, pizza looked halfway appetizing and the pasta was not spaghetti, rather it was overcooked, mushy angel hair and 6 meatballs? My husband said his pizza was pretty good but the pasta on the other hand, looked reheated and sauce tasted like it was out of a jar! We ate what we could, but while doing so I observed the waitress as she tended to other customers! Each time she came to tables she displayed that fake smile and pleasantries then immediately walked away to other waitresses and mocked who ever it was she had just dealt with! Also observed her just standing, drinking coffee as if she had nothing to do! I have never seen such rudeness and disrespect in all my life from a waitress in a place of business! We boxed up our dinners, paid for our meal and left, leaving her no tip what so ever! If this is the way this restaurant runs their business it won't be long before it goes under! Oh and what's up with the dehumidifier running in the seating area? Never saw that one in my life either, makes one wonder just what goes on behind closed doors? Eat at your own risk....

DaVinci Italian Eatery is not your typical Italian restaurant. It's more like a Bistro. Sure they have booths and a couple of tables, but it just doesn't that romantic flare. Therefore I wouldn't recommend the place for a romantic date. However, I do say that place is spectacular for meetings and luncheons. Even as a great place to hold birthdays or take the team out for a celebration meal. Another thing this place is great is as a hangout spot with great food. Now that I bring up food I would love to share my thoughts on the food. Magnificent! One word says it all! I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp, chicken, and broccoli. The presentation looked so delightful that I almost wanted to call it a work of art. I didn't want to ruin such a dish that looked so magnificently hand crafted, but my appetite won the fight. Then there was the bread wonderfully baked to a rich golden brown and fresh from the oven. I took a bite of the broccoli and it practically melted in my mouth. The fettuccini noodle and rich creamy sauce set off an explosion of desire to continue eating until there was no more. The shrimp were large and cooked to perfection. The chicken didn't come in strips, but, instead were chicken patties cooked to soft tender morsels of meat smothered by everything. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Her bubbly persona would lighten up any man's long hard day at work. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. And knows all the drinks by heart. As for price? It's a little on the expensive side, but well worth every penny. The dining area was clean. I saw no rodent, pests, or vermin. The restroom was in great condition. Overall I give this place a recommendation. On a scale of 0-10 I'd give it an 9 easy. Come hungry and know that you're in for a treat!

Our plates were really good. However I'd of given it 5 stars if it weren't for inattentive service, though she was really friendly and that my dish of pasta was drowning in sauce. However we will certainly be back because the fresh baked bread, wedding soup, Italian sub and my pasta Bolognese sauce was very good...minus how much sauce was put on the pasta. It is definitely worth going back for and trying something different. Update: You simply can not go wrong with any food item you order here. We've been back a few times now and it has been excellent every single time. The cooks definitely know what they are doing in that kitchen. This is our go to hands down for Italian food. And I'm changing my star rating from a 4 to a 5 because after dining there like 4 more times since my first review the food has been consistent and excellent.

I don't often give negative reviews, but in this case, I'd give minus 5 stars if if were an option. I'm a business owner myself, and make it a point to post positive reviews for other businesses who do a good job. Unfortunately, my experience with DaVinci's was terrible. We went to DaVinci's a couple weeks ago on a Thursday night. We were seated right away, but things quickly went south. Even though the place was only about 1/2 full, it took at least 15 minutes for the server, Kathy, to come to our table. The service was very slow at every turn. I can tolerate that, because I understand how challenging it can be to run a business, but she was also rude. I think she was trying to be funny, but she wouldn't take my order for linguine with clam sauce unless I said the Italian name on the menu. (she had no way of knowing, but I have lyme disease, and the brain fog from it makes this particularly hard for me to process words) Our food finally comes, and it was pretty good, but that's this place's only saving grace. My girlfriend and I were having a conversation where we were using our phones to look up some information while we talked. Kathy told me to put my phone away and eat the food. She obviously didn't pick up on my frosty response, because as we were finishing up the meal, and still using the phone, she told me just to keep using the phone, and not worry about helping to clear the table, that she and my girlfriend had it covered. Despite all these issues, we still left a $6 cash tip on about a $30 bill that I paid with my debit card. It gets worse. A few days later, when reviewing my bank account, I see that they added a $6 tip to the charge on my card, even though we left the cash tip, and didn't put any on the card. I still had my receipt, and confirmed that my memory wasn't wrong. I called the restaurant and asked for the owner or manager. They put someone named Anthony on the phone. He apologized, and took all my information, including their transaction numbers from my receipt. He promised to make it right, but would need to research what happened, and call me back. He mentioned possibly having me stop in for a cash refund for the tip. He didn't mention why he couldn't just credit my card. A few days passed, and I didn't hear anything back, so I called again. I was told Anthony wasn't in, so they took a message. The next day I received a voice mail from someone named Carlo who was returning my call. By his message, he didn't have any idea why I had called, and just said he understood that I wanted to speak with him. By this point, I was pretty much done, and decided to give it a day or three to decide what I was going to say when we talked. About the 3rd day, I got a voice mail from the server, Kathy, saying that she had accidentally added the tip to my card that was supposed to be added to someone else's. This sounded like BS to me. She asked that I call her back, but it had to be after 5 pm Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. After all this runaround over $6 that was stolen from me, I was completely fed up. They had several opportunities to handle this professionally and make things right, plus I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, because again, I own a business and understand how challenging it can be, but they didn't. Based on the way they handled this situation, I have to wonder how frequently this waitress has stolen from customers that they never realized the extra charges, and if the management knows about it, and allows it. Do not support...

I had family visiting from out of town and thought of taking them to DaVinci Italian Eatery because the food is outstanding. We experienced a horrible evening because of the wait staff named Tina. The food was excellent except the waitress made our evening uncomfortable. She was in a hurry, we had to catch her on the fly by because she seemed too busy trying to ensure she provided the other tables/customer with service they needed (approximately two -three tables 6-10 people in total) I asked for additional bread for the table and it seemed she had an issue with it and said it cost $1.00 per piece in a loud and rude manner, which the price was not an issue. All evening we felt we had to chase her down for drinks, for napkins, for olive oil, pepper, you name it. I'm sorry say that although the food is outstanding I would never go to DaVinci again or recommend this Italian Eatery to anyone. I ended up spending approximately $142.00 which is not an issue for the outstanding delicious meal , The poor quality of customer service and obnoxious attitude and rude behavior caused it to be a horribly uncomfortable family event, what was suppose to be an enjoyable. If the wait staff is unable to provide quality and professional customer service eventually the restaurant/eatery loses their customers. Not everyone is meant to wait tables because with this particular line of work it requires to be in a customer service environment that provides quality professional service. Sad to say that this restaurant allows such poor quality of customer service that it overshadows the outstanding delicious food. Thank you DaVinci for ruining what was suppose to be a pleasant family event. I would think in today's economy it would be critical to your small business to hire staff that "Welcomes" your customers and provides the quality service that complements the delicious meals and creates an ambience that would make people want to come back to your...
