I was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, it ended up being a letdown. The shawarma was actually quite good—I'd give it an 8/10. It was well-prepared, and the sauce was really nice.

However, the experience went downhill with the sweet potato fries, which were badly burnt. I asked for a fresh batch, and the person serving me said he’d bring one out—but never did. After waiting 15–20 minutes, I went to check, and he quickly ran to the back to avoid me. I could clearly see that he had never even tried to fry a new batch.

At the very least, I expected a refund, but that never happened. I ended up wasting money on food I couldn’t eat. I won’t be going back—Prime Grill in Laurel is...

I really wanted to submit a 5-star review, but the high prices and small portion sizes makes this a miss for me. I ordered two "buff" shrimp shawarma and was disappointed by the ultra slim burrito style shawarma with very little shrimp inside. If I'm paying over $13 for what essentially is a burrito... I expect for it to be substantial (no drink or side dish offered) . The flavors and spices used are great but what I received is not worth the price I was charged. I would fly to Lagos for good Shawarma so If I put a 5 star rating then I’m really pleased I mean the bread is light and fresh, you can taste the crispness of the cabbage, I tried different flavors and the shrimp was fresh okay! Now of course I’m going to mention that for the first time in my life as a fan and a lover of Nigerian food I’ve always been troubled by bad customer service and arrogant behavior I see in their restaurants but the lady with short hair was super friendly, super helpful you know it felt so good to walk out of a place knowing that your business support is valued !
