The plus side is that the food is vegan. It is a little heavy. To me, the tofu was a little sweet, but it was good to have with rice and greens. The minus side is that everything is in plastic. Even though we dined in, we got plastic clamshells in number 5, plastic which does not recycle. It went directly into the trash at the restaurant at the end of our meal, along with the silverware and the salt container. Vegan food is ethical and environmentally sound. It was disappointing to be forced to use so much plastic and throw it away. I had brought my own takeout container so leftovers would come home with me without plastic. I was not expecting the dine-in experience to create so much waste. It would be great to see a change to (paper) plates and washable silverware for dining.

Vegan cafe? Right this way! I stopped by while out on a walk and decided to grab some things The BbQ sauce with the cajun chicken wrap paired with fries has great flavor. The potato salad....thick and creamy, which is the side I live on! The plaintains were perfect. The portions are good I only ate half of everything except the fries. I will definitely return to try other things after my next fast. Blessings to the hands that served me today.

This isn’t my first time having Senbeb cafe. It’s probably been over 10/15 times! lol.. soo, it’s safe to say it’s one of my go toos for a quick warm filling vegan meal. I will say, I unusually get the same things.. but I see other things being ordered!! My buddy ordered the crab cakes (which I’ve never had) and he ATE EVERYTHING, left no crumbs… soo it must have been good!

The food is all vegan. And yet it's very tasty. They have a variety of simulated meats like mock chicken wings. Almost like the real thing. If you are a meat eater, you will still find something you can eat. The sauces could be a little bit better. Get a large portion since it's $1 more although there are no prices posted so you'll have to ask if you're curious. There is a back patio that is nice on a sunny day. The front only has a few tables in the front window by the ordering counter. You can park on the street for free which is nice in that area since it's often $2 an hour. It's mostly carry out so even if you eat there, you'll get a carry-out container which is no big deal. Plastic knives and forks. They have free filtered water that is self service. If you've been to nuvegan, it is similar to that style. Very very friendly and attentive staff. There's a health food store directly next door so you can shop for items for your home. Nice! I...

Senbeb is one of my sister's kids favorite vegan places to eat. Nice folks. They have a decent menu. Prices are average although there are a few things over priced. I got the Lemon Shrimp. The order had 3 pieces of shrimp, (small like regular medium shrimp), collard Greens, (very good), Macaroni and cheese (dry, could use some help). I was surprised that the shrimp was good. No lemon flavor, the look and texture was good. The meal wasn't worth the $11.95 I paid for this. The funny part, the young lady at the counter advised not to get it. If I had a big appetite get something else worth my money. Another downer, they will run out of an item without notice. We called in our order. I wanted Lasagna. I arrived to pickup our order. They said almost ready. After 20 min the cook said "we are out of Lasagna". It took me 25 minutes to get there after ordering, food wasn't ready. So the wait was 20 min before we heard "NO...

I used to go to Senbeb all the time esp when they had a raw food chef. It's been at least 8 years since going, so since I was in the neighborhood, I came through. They didn't have a raw food chef anymore, which is cool so I had their greens, mac & cheese, and crab cake. My girlfriend had mushrooms, and yams. Crab cake was ok, everything else was super bland and underwhelming. The same with my friend's food, unfortunately. The person at the cash register seemed very willing to do her job but didn't really want to be there. The food was pricey and I felt like it wasn't worth it. Bummer. Used to love coming here. It feels like they lost the care they used to put in their product. The tea was awesome though.

The gentleman working the register in the store next door seemed more friendly and customer...
