Del Taco — Restaurant in Simi Valley

Used to have no issues at this Del Taco but this was the 5th time they got my order wrong in the last 8 months. I order the same things every other Tuesday and it's not a difficult order; 6 value tacos with no cheese, and an Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito (or 2 Beyond Avocado Tacos). The person at the window/mic always says the correct order and the receipt is always accurate to what I asked for but what's in the bag is usually wrong half the time.

I have a dairy allergy so I always order stuff without cheese. They got it wrong a couple times at first and I let it slide opting to remove the cheese myself but the 3rd time they got it wrong I had to complain because not only was it getting annoying but they gave me just meat and melted cheese with no lettuce, there's either a major communication issue in the back or someone is trying to be funny.

So after that I tried ordering stuff that doesn't contain cheese, like the "Epic Chicken Avocado Burrito" or the new "Beyond Avocado Tacos" but apparently they can't even get that right. Over the last 3 months I've received a "Grilled Chicken Burrito with cheese" instead of the "Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito" which I was charged for on the receipt and this time I got the "Beyond Tacos with cheese" instead of the "Beyond Avocado Tacos" that I ordered.

I ordered on the app.This location is 5 minutes and closest.Sent hubby to pick up. There were no milkshakes available I ordered 2. The app didn’t say not available, if it had I would go elsewhere as that was what everyone wanted!.The burritos were unmarked forcing us to open all items trying to determine whose it was. Disgusting when opened!! The steak w/ pico-guacamole had no guac, just gray matter akin to vomit.,Ice cold. After seeing this, yes you got it, In the trash it went.The tostada was freezer cold.in center. Had to microwave it then guess what? Pure mush no crunch. In the trash. Cost was $42.00 for 4 items less 2 shakes they don’t have. 2 items trashed, hubby ate he was starving and looked the other way..(men!?) This location needs a corporate visit and employees trained. Absolutely disgusting, appalling what we received for $42.00 no supervision at all. The checked by sticker has NO NAME written to pinpoint responsibility. Why use this measure of check since it clearly is not in use. Don’t put the empty stickers on the bags! No standards followed. 7 pm Saturday 8/10/2024. I can’t ever eat at a Del Taco again. Angelique was the person taking my order in the drive thru today at 3:44 pm August 13th, 2024. I came to the intercom wanting to order the taco Tuesday but double the order so meaning 6 tacos in total. She asks me what size I want the tacos ( I thought they came in one size for the taco Tuesday) so I asked what size they came in. She grew quite and so I thought I was asking a dumb question . I said regular size which I thought would’ve been interpreted as the regular size for taco Tuesday. Then I ordered chili cheese fries and a large cherry Coke. I pulled out to the window when I made sure perfectly clear what I ordered. She told me I ordered two tacos when I said “no” and I repeated my order. She changed my price and it rang up differently which was fine but I felt like I was being over charged. I ran back the order with her passive aggressive attitude. She handed me the bag and I left. I checked the bag at the end of the drive way and saw that she in fact did mess up the order and I went back In. It was almost as though she expected me to come back in because as I came in she handed me a bag and said “here you go” with a smirk on her face. I looked I.
