We've always enjoyed Mission Burrito, but will not be going back. Today, we ordered a meal from them through Postmates, and after an hour went by the app said that the establishment had a hold on the order and would need more time. I've never had this happen, so I contacted the restaurant directly. They couldn't find my order anywhere, but knowing that there could be a 3rd party problem, they offered to take my order and gave it ready in 10min. The manager told me he was go into the kitchen himself to prepare the food and come in 10min. When I arrived in the curbside pickup line, the woman who approached my car asked for my name, and then returned to ask what my order was because she didn't have an order under my name. I was not thrilled after the manager had just promised a new order ready by the time I arrived. Seems that he forgot to follow through, so I waited 35 minutes in the line of cars. Eventually I started seeing cars way behind me in the line having food brought and driving away. I decided to park since I couldn't get anyone's attention and went inside to see what the deal was. The same woman was there and when she went back to check on my order, she said something happened to my order. I was astonished and asked her if something happened to my order AGAIN??? She said she didn't know and was sorry for my frustration, as I explained I have now waited two hours for food. She said the manager was making the food right now. Another 10 minutes went by, so I then asked for my money back, but that took more time. Instead, she made me wait for the food, which I'm happy we had dinner (even at 8PM), but there was no offer of apology, money, extras, etc. I was very disappointed by the handling of the situation. If I hadn't been promised food in 10 minutes to make up for the original mishap, it wouldn't have been a big deal, but I'm disappointed by the service and the way they handled the situation with no reason for...
Β Β Β Read moreWe ordered kids' meals which included a drink. My kids do not drink soft drink so we asked for milk, they didn't have milk so we asked if they had juice. The guy helping us said yes, I asked him if the juice was included with the kid's meal and he said yes.
We went to sit down, our food came out but I was waiting for the beans and chips I ordered but they didn't come so I checked the receipt to see if they had charged me for the beans. They did not charge me for the beans but they charged me for the juices.
I went to talk to the person in charge because I was not happy about them charging for the juices when I specifically asked. She told oh well you already pay for them but I will give you your money back if you return the juices. I told her my kids had already drank from them but she said it didn't matter. I took the juices back, she return the money to me and then put the juices in the trash can.... Seriously?
I could have keep the juices but she was really rude and made me feel frustrated. I couldn't believe she rather win the discussion than keeping a customer happy. She lost the money for the juice and customers. We used to go to that restaurant at least once a month. We won't be back.

Once I called my order in, when I arrived to pick it up, I asked if I had to stand in the very long line to do so. The red-headed guy said, "Yes, I would have too. The man I was standing next to in line said something about having another window for called in orders to pick up. This was my second time going there then. He said, they do, over there. So I went to that window and they got my order right away. It was ready. If I had waited in that long line, my food would have been cold by the time I got to the front. I don't know why he did that to me. He wasn't a new employee, and he knew about the pick-up window. It's not labeled, so I didn't. This won't stop me from returning. The atmosphere is common to an in-door outdoor (open room). They don't have regular waitress services. You order at the front, and they bring your food to the table. But if you need anything, you'll have to get up and go after it yourself. I do recommend Mission...
