NOT JUST A MUST-TRY...like, come here every day you possibly can! I cannot emphasize how amazing this restaurant is. The interior is not only beautiful and spectacularly clean, the staff is INCREDIBLE. The manager Carlos is one of the most genuinely kind and beautiful people I have ever met. And the food is wayyy BEYOND what I expected. I was not prepared for this. Everything was PERFECT. We had homemade Jamaica for drinks (so yummy!) and chips and salsa to start. The chips were perfectly seasoned and crisped, and the homemade salsa was AMAZING! My husband ordered the Cali Firefighter burrito with asada, and he loved it so much, it was gone in under 4 minutes, even with it being as big as his face. I ordered the 3 taco plate and tried the asada, pastor and shrimp. The asada had this amazing purposeful crisp that I hadnt experienced before. SO DELICIOUS! And the pastor was absolutely succulent. The shrimp taco was a monster, with gorgeous giant shrimp inside, balanced by the fresh veg and this beautiful sauce. Highly recommend! Next time I will be trying the fish too! On the side, there were also rice and beans, and as a lover of refried, I cannot explain how perfect the beans were. I can now only eat my refried beans from here LOL Please go support this local family owned restaurant, I promise you leave very happy!

This restaurant is AMAZING! We had delicious food while watching the world series on the beautiful patio. (This was our 2nd visit, and the inside of the restaurant is spotlessly clean and beautiful.) The staff is incredible and the owner is attentive and made sure we were fully taken care of. They started us with perfectly crisped chips and homemade salsa with horchata and jamaica. My wife and I looked at each other in amazement because we both grew up in the valley and this is hands-down the best horchata we've both ever had...and we have had a lot of horchata in our lifetime. Same with the Jamaica. Best we have ever had! We even had to confirm with our server...we said, "IS THIS HOMEMADE??" She said "EVERYTHING is homemade" and smiled. We were mindblown. It got even better when the food came. My wife ordered the quesabirria taco plate and I had the Birria Torta. Both plates were PERFECT. And we ordered the plantains for desert, which came with a condensed milk icing situation....which was sooo good. My son had a very happy time chomping on those. Please go have lunch or dinner and support this family-owned establishment, you won't be dissapointed!!!

This place is a hidden gem in Simi Valley. Our party ordered the torta, wet burrito, and the quesobirria tacos. It was all really good and our food came out quick. We also ordered horchata and agua de jamaica and it wasnt too sweet and tasted amazing. The service was friendly and fast. We ate our food to fast to take more pics, but we will definitely be coming back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re looking for Mexican in Simi valley, flavorful, and unforgettable Mexican food, this is hands down one of the best spots in Simi valley, CA! From the moment you walk in, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel at home. The Torta is packed with fresh bold flavors you can truly taste in every bite

the salsas are vibrant with just the right kick, and the portions are generous without compromising quality. this place will not disappoints. Easily my go to recommendation for anyone craving tortas. 🌮🌶️

Thanks to Jasmine and Douglas for for accommodating my wife’s...
