Bojangles — Restaurant in Simpsonville

How many of you have ordered food from this location and found a note inside on a torn Bojangles box part? "I hope you appreciate this...." Well, this happened to us on a $100 order. I wrote a complaint on the website and Arthur called my husband's phone (google must have auto changed to his number by mistake). My husband calls me and says that Arthur says that none of his employees have this handwriting (insinuating we did it ourselves) and he took the note to mean "enjoy". My husband gave me the number for Arthur. I called and the lady said, "Arthur, I think it's them people". He wasn't available to talk and she apologized for calling us them people when I told her "yes, it is them people." Arthur asked my husband why we didn't bring the food back. This food was for a birthday party on Friday night, 9/8/2023, for a friend that lives in Indiana and was leaving early the next morning. The party was already in progress by the time the food was brought in. It is a 30 minute drive into Simpsonville for food. The birthday girl had to leave early Saturday morning to head back to Indiana. The guests knew what had happened and were given the option to eat it or not. Not everyone ate it, and it was noted who did just in case people started getting sick. We weren't sure if the food might have been tampered with because of the note. One of my daughter's drove back in that night to talk with the manager on duty who said she could have a free meal (we didn't take it) and to order through her next time and we wouldn't get that type of service. Arthur called back and again said that the handwriting did not match any of his employees. I told him to look in the trash and see if the torn part of the box was there. I also asked him if they had cameras. He told me he would look through the cameras and would get back to me. I am stating that we did not write this note. If I could give 0 stars I would! I place my order through the drive-thru and waited after the employees finished their unprofessional conversation of being loud and obnoxious. I finally received my order only to arrive home to eat mushy rice which had old pieces mixed with what had supposedly been fresh. I called the restaurant to get hung up on by the same unprofessional teen who handed me my order. I then called back the second time to tell the management about my order and he was rude and loud so I guess he realize he was rude and decided to clean it up with, “I'll be happy to give you a refund.” You can keep the refund and I'll leave you with this. It's imperative to run a successful store and it is detrimental to have employees who are unprofessionally at any time unless they are clocking out to leave. As a manager, you have to set an example instead of being the problem meaning allowing shenanigans to go on instead of redirecting offering a workshop to employees include them. Offering a workshop to your employees including yourself would make you all aware of how to present yourself professionally by interacting with customers in person or on the phone. Thank you I...

This is an experience that will never be forgotten. Orders the 8 piece tailgate meal. Mac n cheese and pintos.. drive home all the way to fountain inn. Gets home makes my daughter plate as prepare my sons plate I notice a while blob on back of his thigh piece of chicken.. I pick it and it's a melted piece of plastic of some sort. Idk if it was a nametag or ink pen or what but there it was. I call back and as expected they are willing to fix the issue on the exception that I can get there by 9 p.m... I hurry my son and daughter up and we take off.. My daughter and son opts to have Mexican which is beside bojongles so walked next door to the bojongles i had just left and it was 8:45 when I get there . I had to walk to the drive through window just to be told they don't have the chicken ready and they are closed and I would have to bring the whole meal back.. ladies and gentlemen.. It might not be all bojongles but this particular one is not ideal to eart at.. whatever it was it melted in the grease and was on others chicken as well. Good thing me and mines didn't consume it but we did waste money which is...
