I worked here for 6 months and I loved it here. The food is so good- I loved my team, front and back of the house. The energy here is so welcoming and warming. It’s something that I haven’t experienced anywhere else.
To start: our hosts were welcoming and on top of their responsibilities which helps the whole restaurant run smoothly. To name a few: Heidi, Lizzie, Amias, Gavin and Andreas; sweet people and hard workers.
Secondly: our servers make everyone who walks in feel welcome, as well as provide exemplary service. These people have their own lives and families, but when they’re at work the guests are their family and they treat them as such. You can experience this yourself if you go see them. To name a few: Ariel, Samantha, Campbell and Amber; big hearts with the best service I’ve seen in a while.
Last but not least: the back of the house. These people again, have their own families and own lives, but when they come to work they are focused and they get the orders out correctly. Mistakes happen (we are human) but they overcome these setbacks WITHIN the rush times and the food still comes out hot and delicious. Impressive. The food is the focal point of restaurants and the part they play does not go unnoticed nor is it unappreciated. To name a few: Benny, Maria, Tim, Selvin and Edgar; go eat here and see for yourself what I’m saying.
The owner (Conally- if I spell your name wrong I am so sorry sir) is a professional individual and has heart for the business, including all the people that play a part in it -guests and employees alike. I have a lot of respect for him!
Overall this establishment gets five stars from me! I would’ve worked there as long as I could have but my priorities called me elsewhere. Go see this team of amazing people and let them...
Read moreThis my first time here at Another Broken Egg in Simpsonville. The presentation of the food is everything. I ordered the supreme omelet my friend ordered the Beacon burger with no cheese. Rebecca asked did I want cheese in my grits i asked to have my friendscheeseput in my grits for no charge. She said ok. Asked what we wanted to drink. Then told me they have $20.00 mimosas she suggested the blueberry lemon mimosas. It was so sweet my stomach hurt from 2 sips. I asked her could she fix it she gave me an 1/2 more of champagne. We got our food. The plate was steaming hot. Burn to touch, because it sat under the heat lamp so long the eggs were dry and shriveled up. They totally forgot my biscuit. Then they brought my 2nd omelet was good but they brought the biscuit that I was supposed to get the first time so it was cold & shriveled up. They brought my biscuit. It was better. Then when I got my check i asked about military discount. She said we give military discount but due to the discount on the mimosa I couldn't get military discount. I explained she never told me it was discounted she just told me about the 20.00 mimosas. Throughout this time I asked for the manager. She came out gave my complaint. Listened with no apology. Then brought me my corrected check with no apology or compensation. The bar tender talked to the couple sitting at the bar most of the time as if we weren't there. We had to constantly try to get her attention. Bad customer service!! No apology, Bad customer service! Food presentation, Bad service! Again this is my first time here & my experience was...
Read moreA pearl among pearls. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and were greeted like the first customers of the day. This grill offers breakfast and brunch until 2pm. Our first dining experience , but certainly not our last. Harold is great. Never rushed us to decide, brought me coffee without me having to ask, and kept us feeling like special guests. With a variety of omelets, pastries, and breakfast items, it was a tough decision, a toss-up between biscuits & gravy or a combo of eggs and bacon. So we ordered both. Biscuits are wonderful, and they were accompanied with a generous portion of the best gravy I ever put in my mouth. Bacon was crisp, & the eggs done to perfection. There is jam, butter, syrup, and sweeteners on the tables, so we didn't have to beg for more. Prices are great, service is fast and staff is friendly. So every restaurant has a down side... only problem here was the grits...maybe a little salt should be added to the water while cooking. Other than that, perfect. Decor, staffing, food, parking, all excellent. Cream of the crop.
First visit during the week. No wait. Sam was our waitress. Sweeter than sweet. Took the best care of us we ever had. She is the type of employee that draws in...
