Exchange Coffee was my go-to coffee shop when I lived in Simpsonville six years ago. Today’s visit is my first time back since then, and Exchange Coffee is as good as I remembered it. I got a regular coffee and a gluten free, maple brown sugar scone. Both were wonderful. As this shop is in a historic building (in the oh-so-charming Downtown Simpsonville) it has a cool vibe with its exposed brick walls and beams and concrete floors. It’s truly a community gathering place where friends young and old come to visit over coffee while enjoying their wonderful crepes. (Yes…they do amazing crepes here!) Add to all this a super friendly staff. Highly recommend! UPDATE: the Exchange recently created a gorgeous upstairs seating area that is incredible. With exposed beams, exposed brick, and tons of light pouring in through the large windows, the space is airy and inviting. Did I mention the sweet view of downtown Simpsonville if you sit by the front windows? Also, the upstairs is filled with plants for sale. Such a beautiful renovation and...
Read moreI am quickly becoming a regular of Exchange, and it's easy to see why! They have a lovely, cozy atmosphere with local art and coffee for sale, kind and efficient service behind the counter, and very tasty beverages and food! The prices are very reasonable, and I continue to try new things on their menu with good results every time. They have a very convenient location downtown, where I walk from the pottery in their backyard when I'm working in town. Match made in heaven. I look forward to trying everything they have to offer. Definitely worth the trip! So many cool things to do in downtown Simpsonville, and having a local coffee shop with high quality local goods and service is right at the top of the list! Thank you to all the staff and management for making Simpsonville that much more special to visit and enjoy the atmosphere. Love you a latte! Keep up the good vibes and great service and I look forward to seeing you next week! 🥰 ❤ Jess at...
Read moreOnly 2nd time going since my out-of-town friend (here for March Madness @ the Bon Secours Arena) introduced me to the Exchange Company. OMG, I haven't tasted crepes this good since my French mother made them for me as a kid (b/c of my mama's pigeon English, I thought crepes were pancakes until I spent the night at a friend's house and her mom made us real U.S.ofA. pancakes. I quickly learned the difference. As far as the Exchange Co. goes, I really love the crepes, coffee and ambiance. In fact in this visit, I introduced my hubby to ECC and he loved it. We even brought home some of the bakery delights to have later on. Definitely will be going back again and again, I'm afraid. Y'all keep up the good work. And, PS: their street is a plethora of shops and restaurants that I can't wait to get to know! Thanks, Jane, for coming to my neck of the woods from Bmore & introducing me...
