The food at this restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately our experience was ruined by the unacceptable behavior of a waitress (young, blonde). My 5-year-old nephew, who is on the autism spectrum at a low level, expressed a brief “NO” with a small shout. As a family, we immediately attended to him, and within seconds he was calm again, happily playing on his tablet.
However, minutes later, this waitress came over and scolded him in a loud and disrespectful tone, going over the authority of his mother and of us as the responsible adults. Who gave her the right to do this? Her reaction was not only unnecessary (everything was already calm), but also showed a complete lack of respect and empathy toward a child with neurodiversity. Her intervention made him nervous, caused him to cry, and left him sad and confused about why he was being reprimanded.
Children are children, and especially those who are still learning social behaviors through love and patience. The waitress showed zero sensitivity and professionalism. If this place does not welcome children or people with neurodiversity, then they should post a sign at the door instead of allowing employees to humiliate and mistreat young customers.
My sister, the child’s mother, ended up crying and feeling deeply frustrated. We reported this to the manager, and the only response was “I’m sorry,” which is completely insufficient given what happened. This was a painful, disrespectful, and...
Read moreOk. I hate to post bad reviews but we just spent $70 on take out dinner and I was sooo disappointed. We live about 15 minutes away and decided to do take out from here instead of sit down. We have ate here several times in the restaurant and it was good. Today I was so disappointed in take out. We ordered 3 different types of sushi which were good. Its sushi shouldnt be to hard. We ordered chicken pad thai (heat level 4 since the kids were going to be eating it). Mixed meats teriyaki fried rice and orange chicken. Ok the pad thai lacked flavor and seemed it was an afterthought and thrown into the box. Hardly no chicken. Same with teriyaki feel like the mall has more flavor than this dish. Very watery. I will say the orange chicken had good flavor but for both orange chicken and fried rice they gave us what looked like an ice cream scoop of rice. I could hold what they gave in the palm of my hand. To pay this much for food and not get the right proportions was...
Read moreI absolutely love Thai Cuisine. I've been coming here for years but I'm going to have to find a new Thai restaurant to go to. The food here is excellent, but the portions are just too small. I've been to other restaurants that have small portions, but they've never been small enough to make me complain about it. Unfortunately, I just can't keep it to myself any longer. I always leave hungry and I'm not going to order double portions because that's a little too expensive for just one meal. The lunch portions are the same size as the dinner portions, but dinner obviously costs more.
I can't believe I'm writing this review, but seeing others complain about the portion sizes has made me realize that I'm not alone. If you want good Thai food and you don't mind being hungry when you leave, this is the place for you! But if you're hungry and want to eat a good, filling meal, I'd say go...
