Very interesting. We had a host, age 11, very welcoming. Our waiter was about 14, very intelligent and nice. I will review objectively listing both bad things and the good. The menu was difficult to figure out. The printing was hard to read, repetitive and the dozens of descriptions were, apparently, inaccurate. Our waiter told my wife that the cook had just finished making one dish, a yellow stew, so it was FRESH. We immediately chose to share that. The sourdough flatbread pancake, called injera, was excellent! Maybe the BEST we'd ever had. The yellow stew was actually brown, and consisted of about seven bones. Spine? Neck? Leg? Arm bones? A hoof? By pushing with fingertips and tearing, one could get some meat and fat off the bones! It had a GOOD flavor but was difficult to eat. The spiced vegetable flavored sauce the bone pile came coated in was nice and it FLAVORED the injera bread very NICELY. We ate all the meat off the bones and all the bread. There were no vegetables with our food or side dishes on our plate. The meat and fat itself probably added up to nearly 5 ounces. We did not become ill after eating from these bones, which was a pleasant surprise to us both. Our total for the one "dinner" we shared was about $21.50. We appeared to be the only customers. We left a 15 percent tip because the kids were so NICE. I believe we have now tasted very AUTHENTIC food like that one could expect to find in the middle of Ethiopia. I hope our honest review is helpful to you. But I REALLY hope one more OBJECTIVE reviewer will (diplomaticaly) confirm my review. PS Advice to Owners: This family owned restaurant and bar could probably benefit from having an experienced restaurant manager offering advice on how to operate a little more professionally while keeping the wonderful warmth of a family owned business.

Wow!!! So delicious and the people there were very friendly. We got the number 15 and 17. For drinks we had the tea and the Siwa Juice. The tea was so good. It took me a couple drinks of the juice to warm up to it...
