Went in to get ice cream cones with my girlfriend and the lobby was absolutely disgusting . The lady who was closing (January 13th at 10:05 pm) looked as if she did not care much about her job and when i asked for a straw because she had not filled or organized her drink station i was told to wait a minute. Another employee had to give me a straw 5 mins later and there was 1 other customer in the lobby. It really looked as if she actually left her shift for the night without doing a thing .
We went to fill our drinks and there was condiments everywhere and lids thrown allover the place . There was still food on the tables and floor as well as other dirt and grime. As we were getting ready to leave another guy had to come in and cleanup after the girl since she literally left the lobby in a disaster . The guy was nice enough to politely let us know we should get our refills since he was breaking down the drink area to clean it . He looked upset about the situation he was plagued with and he deserves some recognition for what he did since he was working so much harder to clean up after a lazy employee that obviously didn't care about the company or their lobby.
I placed a call to the manager afterwards to let her know about this and when she answered the phone she did not say her name other then hello . I had to ask whom i was speaking with and then she said her name was Christina (not sure if this was actually a higher up ). When i let her know about the issue at hand she said " im sorry about that sir , its really hard to get her to do anything ". She was not rude but i do not believe that would be the correct way to explain why another employee was at fault for any situation especially if its a customer on the phone . I should have heard thank you for calling Mc Donald's my name is Christina how may i help you ? Oh i am sorry to hear that sir i will make sure that this is brought up to the employee and thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Once again I'm not even sure she was a manager or even a supervisor by the way she spoke on the phone but overall the guy who was left with the short end of the stick needs a raise for dealing with his teammates faults in front of other customers and continuing to work hard on the lobby he was left with . it may be a hard job but there is always people willing to work it and that...
Read moreAlmost ever time I go though this drive though and get the standard two cheese burger meal with just ketchup and extra dill pickle. For whatever reason they always mess up on just one of my burgers. I went through drive though with my roommate. The dude at the window puts the order on just fine and is pretty cool. I check the receipt. He put it in right and is pretty nice over all. Before we completey pull out I checked the receipt and it's right. Pull back around to the first window and we let the guy know one of the burgers is wrong but we checked the receipt and it wasn't his fault. Pull to the second window with the burger and we tell the guy that one of the burgers is wrong. He goes and gets another co worker. Keep in mind we haven't been rude at all anyone. So far everyone has been chill and it not that big of a deal but I just want my second burger. She takes the receipt and looks at it, doesn't give it back but insisted we miss spoke. I let her know the recipe is right. She's very rude and unprofessional. She says I should have said no onion or mustard. She closes the window and me and my roommate are talking because we're surprised that we basically got "the bun is somethinged" like in good burger. She comes back and says it has no onion in a very rude and condescending tone and basically tells us to order better. We weren't rude and all I wanted was my burger fixed. I didn't even need a thank you, it could have been a completely neutral exchange and I would have been fine. But I didn't need that one employee to be that rude to me for no reason. That's what made the entire thing a bad experience really all I wanted was some greasy fast food to just enjoy the end of my day a little bit more and now I didn't really even...
Read moreThe line was very long and took a while to even get to order. She asked us if we we’re going to use the code today. We said yes and gave her a code and then proceeded to order. The code was not applied but the lady told us that it would be applied when we got to the second window. We re-gave them the code and asked them what the total would be. She took the card and then told us what our total was. It did not match what it was supposed to be. She refused to wait for us to re-pull up the code and continued to say it didn’t work and then swipe our card without our consent. We also did not receive A receipt for this transaction because the cashier refused to even make eye contact after the event. I am not upset that the line took a long time. I am also not upset that the code failed to work. I am upset that the cashier proceeded to charge our card without even asking us or trying to resolve the situation or give explanations as to why it did not work. If McDonald’s is going to have a point system then they need to teach their workers how to use it. If their workers do not know how do use the point system then they need to teach their cashiers how to I ask questions to their superiors in order to resolve...
