I typically abstain from writing reviews, whether commendatory or critical. However, in light of numerous reports regarding subpar service, I feel compelled to contribute my observations. The cuisine is commendable and reasonably priced, yet I perceived a hurried sense and palpable irritation from the woman who took my order, and for that, I extend my apologies.
Firstly, I apologize for my indecision during my second visit, as I was unfamiliar with the menu. A suggestion for improvement would be to display your signature sandwiches prominently on the menu at the entrance.
Secondly, I regret requesting items not available, a mistake stemming from my inexperience with your offerings.
Thirdly, I appreciate that you likely prepare hundreds of sandwiches daily, repetitively reciting the same phrases and answering the same inquiries.
Lastly, while I understand the camaraderie built through sharing grievances with coworkers, I would recommend waiting until the customer is out of earshot before expressing such sentiments.
I do not typically consume bagels, thus the likelihood of my returning to the South Minnesota location in the near future is rather slim. Should the occasion arise, I may opt to visit the alternative location. Once again, please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience I may...
Read moreThe staff are friendly and fast, too fast for us. My friend and I have vision issues, and we can't read the board on the wall well. Even a printed menu in hand didn't help me much because of the sense of urgency. We like coming here; we like the coffee and the food, but even with help, we feel rushed.
There is a variety of breakfast sandwiches, muffins, cookies, danishes, etc. We usually get the sausage, egg, and cheese on whatever bagel staff points out behind them or on the list by the sneeze shield.
Near the drink cooler and register are bags of discount bagels. They have many self-serve coffee flavors to choose from as well as a soft-drink machine. They also have other types of coffee drinks on their menu.
The bathrooms are single person use. The women's has always been clean and supplied.
They have a small group area in addition to the main eating room. If you didn't happen to come with or meet up with a friend and don't want to people watch or zone out on electronics, they have a magazine rack for free papers, local rental guides, and other...
Read moreI’ve never had such a terrible experience at a place. Went to the Minnesota street location and started ordering the lady said she couldn’t hear me which is fine my voice is a little hoarse due to a cold and I am just soft spoken. I repeated what I wanted. She asked for my name I told her Kricia and she said what I can’t hear you. I repeated it again and she said okay…I walked away to go pay for my bagel and I could hear her making a side comment to her coworker about not being able to hear me and what she thought my name was. She then sent her coworker to bring out my bagel to the counter. She called out “Gracio” I went up and grabbed it. As I’m heading out I can hear the 2 employees giggling and saying “well she answered to it”. Yes I did because yes my name is not common and I am used to it being mispronounced and misspelled. But thank you for embarrassing me for my name in a room full of other customers. Next time you should give the person a pen and paper I’m sure they would gladly spell their name...
