Im highly disappointed I know it was stated that underage kids are supposed to be with their legal Guardian which in this situation I AM. But mind you i went to buy tickets they asked if i was their guardian i said yes, my cousins parents are in mexico have been for a year. So i got the tickets for my girls and was declined entrance. I had their IDS with me including mine. That was the only time i could have went because all day in the morning till afternoon i work. There are no refunds and sadly i could not use it for another day Is what the lady said. Not sure if they were so worked up at the fact that a whole bunch of drunk people and random kids where trying to sneak in and caused a huge issue that we got the backlash in stead. What was i supposed to do? Bring their birth certificates to prove me taking care of them yes im not there biological mother. but i am there LEGAL GUARDIAN!! they didn't even acknowledge my presence after i tried to explain the situation. I went for the food giveaway and as usual lots of people and not enough food but for about 3 days with family of 2 if you want lots of bread and potatoes they got that but meat and other things is varied but maybe 5 months out of a year. I do understand lots of people in need and for once it would be nice to see those that hord alot of food at stores to either give away to those in need or plan out flat stop holding at the grocery stores so others on lower income can buy food instead of having to rely on food giveaways . Most of the workers and volunteers are nice but 1 gal who has a attitude while directing cars into line, I don't know her name but today she was wearing white leggings and a red t-shirt with brown hair and boy she likes to give people a lot of attitude. I think maybe she needs some lessons in patience and attitude. Other then that it's a great place for food giveaway and I like the car idea much better then standing in line for hours especially if you have handicaps and you need...

We stayed just one night as we were passing through. Fair was in a couple of weeks. They just had 2 1/2" of rain the day before. Most of the sights were to wet to back into without a 4X4 which I don't have. We found a nice dry spot just off the road. No rode noise. Planes from the airport stop at 9:00pm, start back at 6:00 in the morning. We have stayed here before and will again. We had 50 amp service and water. Was $30.00. This was in 2018.

$40 a day, $200 a week, $700 per month now. We have stayed here every summer now since 2019 for six weeks at a time. Nothing fancy but close to everything in Sioux Falls. We are use to the planes earliest 5:00 am latest 11:00 pm. Train goes by 7:00 am week days. Haven't had any safety problems. Staff is helpful and friendly. Our grandkids are only a few miles away. Bike path is a block away. Lord willing we will be back next year after the fair...
