Tomacelli's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

We are new in town and were excited to try this place. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread, jumbo chicken cacciatore, jumbo shrimp alfredo and two cheesecakes for a date night. The boyfriend's chicken cacciatore was delicious, and the portions were very nice all around. However, my shrimp alfredo was incredibly dissapointing. The alfredo had ZERO flavor (honestly it seemed like they just made a roux and called it alfredo... The taste was just of butter and flour it was that bland) and there were only about eight small shrimps included in the meal. The dish was also advertised to have mushrooms and there were none. The prices were very reasonable, but really alfredo from a jar would have had ten times the flavor than my dish. The cheesecake was good but very basic. Had a bad experience with delivery today. Accidents do happen of course, it was the way the management handled their mistake that was upsetting. An hour after the wrong food was delivered someone showed back up at my house with some cajun powder and was very rude. I called the store and the manager did nothing to help solve the issue with our food and showed no concern for fixing their mistake. She made me feel like I did something wrong for spending my money with them. Very unpleasant experience. This happened again. Darren sent the correct food after 2 hours of back and fourth with his staff. He was also rude and blamed me for being upset after I was hung up up on 5 times. The Manager from the 12th st location is amazing, she deserves a raise and should be the only one allowed to handle upset customers. Thank you for your help and your concern. Excellent food however the rude employees on the phone when placing my order by far out weighs the food. The phone was answered and the first thing said was "I need you to hold" then put me on hold without a please or time for me to respond. When they returned to take my order I was put on hold again with out notice half way through my order. When the delivery driver arrived one my pizzas was missing. He told me it would be another hr before he could bring it to me due to another delivery. When I went to pick it up myself the girls behind counter were texting on their phones for a couple minutes before even acknowledging me at the counter.
