Bayou Snowballs — Restaurant in Slidell

Been coming here for a few years. Have always enjoyed the ice cream. Got a chocolate ice cream in a cup, it had chucks of ice through out the ice cream. Threw it in the trash after the 3rd bite. ALSO I accidentally locked my keys in my car when I used the remote start and being ( for some reason) the phone towers were down so I couldn’t use the app to unlock my car. I asked if I could sign on their WiFi and they said No, I then asked if I could use the phone and was told it wasn’t cordless. She said if I used her cell phone that my party wouldn’t answer because she has an Ohio #. I had 4 grandkids with me. She knew this because we just ordered and was sitting there. No it isn’t her fault I locked my keys in the car and although she was nice I still felt like me using a phone to call a local number shouldn’t have been an issue. Needless to say I will never go back there again, not that they truly care about what little revenue I could bring them anyhow. Point being be better equipped for customers. Once again,...

I usually come here a few times a week but wont be returning. Customer service horrible. I went through drive through and order was taken . First of all if any order is taken by drive through should be verify at window. I verifired my own order to the teenager girl at the window . She nodded yes to the verification. I was missing one kiddie snowball and then she gon say i wasnt charged for it. I said thats why i verified with you before paying. She going to say I didnt take your order . I said yea but thats why I ask you before I paid. She gon said she only said yes to the quanity of bags of chips I wanted. I used my debit card and I coukdnt use it again. Furthermore it shoukd have been free because the order was messed up by them not me. First it was disrespectful trying to go back and forth with me like Im in the wrong. I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO WRITE THIS REVIEW, I HAD A FEW ERRANDS TO RUN IN TOWN AND FIGURED I WOULD STOP AT THIS PLACE FOR A SNO BALL - AS I HAVE CRAVINGS BEING 13 WEEKS PREGNANT. LOL. THEY DID NOT OPEN TIL 12PM. I KNEW THAT- SO I WAITED ABOUT TEN MIN TIL IN THE DRIVE THRU UNTIL THEY WERE OPEN. I DIDNT WANT THEM TO THINK I WAS BEING IMPATIENT. 2 MIN AFTER REVIEWING THE MENU- A LADY GOT ON THE INTERCOM AND POLITELY ASKED WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER. THIS WAS 8 MIN BEFORE THEY OPENED. I WENT AHEAD AND ORDERED AND PULLED UP TO THE DRIVE THRU AND SHE MADE THE SNO BALL PERFECT! AND SHE DID IT WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE AS I LEFT AT EXACTLY 12:00. THESE LADIES DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT.
