I wanted to let you know of our experience last Thursday night for the NFL draft. We frequent this location as you can see if you look up my rewards number. I had to wait a few days before I wrote this because we were so enraged this would have been nothing but expletives. I don't want to give you a blow by blow on here, but if you would like please let me know in your response and will be more than happy to elaborate on my comments. LONG STORY short. We arrived at 6:20pm. We placed an order at 6:45pm and we're told it would be longer than usual. No problem, we were in no real hurry. My buddy and I ordered the all you can eat special, and other 4 people ordered other menu options. An hour and a half later our food came. Yes, 8:15pm. Our waitress was the best part of the evening!! She constantly kept our drinks full and was very sincerely apologetic about the wait. Needless to say, we ordered more wings immediately due to the wait. Guess what time we got those?? 9:50 after we had already made other deal with waitress to adjust our order and payment. The WORST PART of our experience was to know THE OWNER/ MANAGER created this issue by improper scheduling and SHE WALKED OUT THE DOOR INTO HER CONVERTIBLE at 7:30pm when HER STORE was not only in the weeds but in an AMAZON RAINFOREST!!! Every single one of us is in the service industry so we get it!!! Hence the reason we tipped the server very well!!. 1 of us is a district manager, 3 of us are restaurant general managers and 2 are waitresses. This is an absolute disgrace to your brand. This is also not the first time, we have had an issue at this location. We continue to visit, because the waitresses know us and make sure we have a good experience, but this time even they couldn't help. OWNER is an absolute disgrace!!! Read moreDined in on 5/30/19. Single worst dining experience of my life. They were busy so a wait was understandable however the hostess “ Beyonce” was terrible. She only checked us in then didn’t return to front once in over 20 mins until I mentioned to a waiter to see if the hostess could check in with all the groups waiting. The supposed manager if thats what you want to call her was rude and very unprofessional. She instructed a waiter to seat us immediately even though we were NOT the next in line. I told waiter we were happy to continue waiting just wanted the hostess to do her job. Seated anyways then the “ manager” comes to our table and in front of all other customers proceeds to tell me we were NOT to be seated and that we were last on list. We offered to get up and co timue waiting. She proceeded to tell me in a very nasty and confrontational tone that cant i see how busy they were and how behind the kitchen was and how the hostess was busy helping on the floor. Again i offered to get up from table and told us she would move us to another table. After she finally leaves she must have instructed the waiter to NOT return to our table and continue service bc we waited another 45 mins without server or mgr returning to our table we finally decided to just leave. We frequent this restaurant regularly and have NEVER had such bad service. Read moreThis review is more about a particular employee than the restaurant. Hostess and server SHELBY in Slidell, La is AMAZINGL! I have a friend (Angie) who has gone to BWW weekly for years. She recently and unexpectedly lost her husband after a short sickness, was laid off from her job, then had a car wreck (not her fault). The last 2 incidents were in same week. Things have been hard to say the least. Shelby always greets Angie by name, big smile, ask follow up questions from previous visits, tries to save her favorite table, knows her favorite drinks and more. Anything and everything you want from local establishments that you visit weekly. Shelby goes beyond duty and is genuinely happy to see you. Angie isn’t her normal self for few visits. Then due to not having working transportation misses her weekly dinner the following week. When Shelby did she Angie she discreetly gave her a card and personal note. Shelby made Angie feel cared about, wanted, missed and was that bright spot of sunshine my friend needed. Shelby knew times were tough for Angie. Not because she was told, but by Angie’s demeanor. The card had a personal message that helped lift my friend out of very dark moment. Shelby took her personal time and money to let my friend know she was missed and how upsetting it would be if Angie stopped coming to BWW. BWW is extremely lucky to have Shelby work for them.
