Very good food ! Clean and quiet environment, good service, fresh ingredients, great quality of food. I love their hot and sour soup, but not the bamboo in the soup. They take them out for me! Very nice service ! I also like their shrimp with garlic sauce, huge shrimp! You make substitution anytime you want. I request broccoli instead of other vegetables and they didn't charge for extra. However, they tell you whether or not there is an extra charge or not for the substitution clearly if it is necessary, which is reasonable and honest ! NOT LIKE a place called Chinese House Restaurant ! Always charge you a dollar or 2 may be more or 50cents some kind for spicy sauce , sweet sauce , green onions , chicken gravy etc , and never tells you until you really cauculate your total by an accident!!!! 1/14/18 I ordered quite a few things when I went. The shrimp lo mein, sweet n sour chicken combo, egg roll, and Chinese donuts. The shrimp lo mein didnt come with as much shrimp as I would have wanted but tastes pretty good. I dont like the style of their sweet n sour chicken because im not a big fan of pouring that red sauce on it. The egg roll was okay but not a fan of it. I usually eat Asian food every week and this is thr best Chinese Takeout in Slidell. Not only is the food cooked in a brand new kitchen but they give you "Texas size portions" for same price as all of their competitors and its cooked better because of the new kitchen.

I reccommend getting the Sweet and Sour Chicken, House Special Mei Fun for lunch and 2 large orders of House Special Soup for dinner.
