PJ's Coffee — Restaurant in Slidell

My husband is in town from working in Cali and loves beignets.. I got to PJs 1 hr and twenty minutes before they close as I’m writing this it’s only 6pm and they close at 7.. I asked for an order of 6 beignets to surprise my husband for a treat. The young lady on the intercom proceeds to tell me that they’ve already broken down the machine for cleaning so they can’t make beignets I found that odd as it’s more than an hr before close but what actually kinda frustrated me is when I pulled around to leave I can see her through dark glass laughing. I LOVE PJ's coffee therefore I hate to rate it so low HOWEVER this is only a reflection of this particular location. My "coffee" tasted like flavored water, I didn't trust the girl behind the counter to make it properly a second time so I didn't even bother asking her to. Ive given this Pjs 3 multiple tries to give them the benefit of the doubt but it’s probably the worst Pjs I've been to. I get a frozen white hot chocolate with espresso and whip and I’ve never had an issue at both mandeville and hammond locations. They put the espresso separately with the drink itself and leave it unmixed at the bottom and it makes it very unsatisfying and no other PJs has done that. will not...
