The manager is terrible with customer service, I asked him what was the best headset and all he could say was that he doesn't know because he has thousands of products in store. He was in a rush to get me out of the store, made me feel very unwelcomed and like I was taking to much time to make the right decision on a headset and he was just acting very inconsiderate of his customers with a bad attitude the whole time. I do not recommend going to this gamestop. Also the employee there was trying to push me to buy things I didn't need and was also very unhelpful when it came to headsets and my questions. I believe you should take the time to know your job if you work there. I took back my first headset because I thought it was defective due to my friends in a party chat sounding robotic and so I exchanged it for another one which is worse than the first one and I found the issue with the first headset and they would not let me take this headset back for the first one I got "he couldn't take it out of defective" so now I'm stuck with a headset that is actually defective because they couldn't help me figure out what was going on with the first one. If I could give 0 stars I would. Manager was a...
Read moreI’ve been shopping at GameStop for years and never had an experience like this before. On September 14th, 2025, my fiancée and I went to the Slidell, LA location (796 E I-10 Service Rd) for the Pokémon Twilight Masquerade ETB restock.
When I asked if they had any, one employee told me no. Moments later, another employee said yes, they did. I explained that my fiancée and I each wanted one, but he cut me off and very rudely said, “It’s one per household, I’m telling you how it is.” He then added, “We only have one anyway.”
After I bought the ETB, he pulled out another one — which he admitted they were “saving for themselves” — and only then allowed my fiancée to buy it. We did complete both purchases, but the way the staff handled the situation made it extremely tense and awkward.
With how toxic the Pokémon card community has become due to scalpers and employees holding stock, I expected better professionalism here. Other reviews mention similar issues, so this doesn’t feel like a one-off.
I hope GameStop addresses this, because customers deserve fair treatment and...
Read moreMy sister brought my nephew(9yr) and my son(10yr) to get the newest Pokemon prismatic booster bundle drop yesterday morning… they got there at 0800 and were second in line. Mind you the store doesn’t open until 1100… Two days before the drop my sister called and spoke to a lady that works there and asked about surprising the boys with taking them to the store to get each of them a box of cards as my son has been talking about this drop for a few weeks… And she told her that they should get there around 0800 in the morning to make sure that the boys each got a box of cards and that it had a limit of two per person and if they had a lot of people that it would drop to one per person… So the store opens and they get to the register and now they are saying that the boys can’t have two boxes or one box each that they could only get one box per household… The manager, a guy was very rude to my sister and refused to let each of the boys get a box of cards… I feel that they were mistreated and not treated fairly especially since they waited for 3 hours to get some...
