Update as of September 2025: Now that there is credible scientific information out, proving mask mandates were not rooted in science, but politically based misinformation, it is a validation of this review.

ORIGINAL POST: Witnessed the owner of this business demonstrate his extreme prejudice, and hatred, towards all those with medical conditions (handicapped), just like in the days of the civil rights movement, when people of color were denied service based on hateful people’s ignorance.

This horrible, ignorant, arrogant, poor excuse of a human REFUSED SERVICE to two customers, solely based on their medical conditions, which prevented them from wearing a face mask. Even though the two customers were respecting “social distancing”, and were following all local mandates, they were denied service.

This appears to be a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, as he denied service to two customers based solely on their medical condition (handicap).

This was such a disgusting display of pure prejudice and ignorant hatred, that I left my order, and walked out, and will never return. ‘

Shame on this horrible business for treating the ones of our society that need the most understanding, like they are “less than”, and not worthy of...

Unfortunetly i can't order through the phone. The message i get through the phone call was your horrible service hours and the fact that you dont accept orders within "30 mins" before closing is redicilous! The service time in this establishment is painfully terrible and you guys are showing me that you don't want to work until someone arrives in through the door to make an order in which you have to do it as a chore.

Instead of waiting for customers, not accepting phone orders in the middle of the day (12pm) after 3x phone calls. You guys prove to me that you dont want to make my sandwhich. I was really looking forward to eating a shrimp po boy in which google recommend you first, but apparently thats going to change in the future because you dont want to accept orders.

fix your service time and keep it smooth 11am to 9pm for example

*accept online and phone orders through the entire service time

*Dont wait for the customers, you want the customers

If you can improve that, i will change my review to 5 stars and recommend you through social media...

Was in Slidell from out of town doing some shopping and decided a po boy would be good for a late lunch. Have been to some of the other po boy places but really like trying different ones. It was a few minutes away from where I was and I saw that they closed early so I knew I needed to press on. When I pulled up I realized it was not a fancy place which was fine with me. It looked a bit small and wasn’t sure if you could even eat there. Upon entering I saw that they did have just a few tables. I ordered a shrimp po boy. Oh my, it was so good ! It was the best one I’ve had in Slidell (none have been bad). I did sit and eat there as I was very hungry. They were so nice and never made me feel rushed even though I knew they were about to close. This place is the best ! I also appreciate that they have diet Mug...
