Lewis's Drive-In — Restaurant in Smithfield Township

It was so wonderful having our place opened up again we really had no choice is here Marshalls Creek you basically had Dairy Queen or you had to drive out to Mary and dairy barn but Lewises has been a staple forever. The ice cream is unbelievable and the staff they have in there is young ladies are amazing. They are pleasant Going out away for whatever it may be for you and they have like the biggest variety of hard ice cream flavors that nobody else has which makes it great on building itself for me. Reminds me of when I was a kid in Kingsburg. New Jersey a place called Polo club. It just brings it back home sounds crazy but it does and like I said, what you get for your money is so worth it the quality of the ice cream is unbelievable and again the amount of flavors they have a hot ice cream And I don’t want to forget the Italian ices. The Italian ices were another thing that things are just like the ice truck that used to come around town when I was a kid so I want to thank you for opening a place back up and I wish you all the best of luck . You have a customer as long as you got those doors open....

An American classic. I found this place by accident and it’s jot my favorite after-work treat. The service was fast and friendly with adequate staff for the late afternoon rush. The patrons were a pleasant mix of young families, local office staff, laborers, and vacationers. The play yard was the biggest surprise. Attached to a very nice seating area of many picnic tables under a portico, the enclosed play ship looked well maintained with fresh mulch and an adorable white picket fence enclosing the yard. Perfect to let mom and dad enjoy their treat while the kids learn to make new friends and explore unstructured playtime.

I only ever get a twist cone but I enjoy this place so much I might try some hard ice cream soon. The fries were perfectly cooked. Similar to Burger King style fries. Ample size. Enough to have leftovers and share.

I grew up going to Lewis's Drive-In because it was close to my childhood home so I have been a long time customer. I was always impressed at the selection of ice cream flavors, and the service. I can say that the renovation of Lewis's knocked my socks off. The entire shop looks terrific. I love the design of the playground.It is completely constructed to fit precisely in the area. The picnic tables are well done , and there is a lot of seating room. It is like I never even remembered what the old Lewis's looked like before renovation.i also always liked the menu of salty food, and the sandwiches. I ordered some salty food and it was tasty. I would come back, and maybe bring some friends...
