The worst service I have ever experienced at a D'Angelo's, or any place ever. I placed an order and picked it up, drove all the way home; only to find is was very wrong. Honestly that wasn't even the bad part mistakes happen. The problem occurred when I called, I explained exactly what was wrong with every sandwich and was told no one could help me, because the manager was to busy to talk to me. I said I needed to speak to someone because the sandwiches needed to be remade, so I could pick them up. The girl on the phone, placed me on hold again, and when she came back, told me to repeat everything I said and she would write it down, so the manager could call me later, when she wasn't busy. I said I need to speak to someone now, to get my sandwiches remade. This was the third time I had asked for help. I said either someone could help me or I could call corporate. I was put on hold again, when the girl returned she told me to look up the corporate number then. The manager should be let go. I have worked in or managed a number of different businesses and I have never seen any manager show this level of disregard...
Read moreWent in to this D'Angelo location thinking it would be top-notch like the one next to Woonsocket... it was a totally different experience. The #9 which is usually bursting with chopped chicken, had maybe a small handful of chicken. The sandwich was all bread. Unfortunately did not get a photo as my partner and I were in such shock as to how the sandwhich came out. I ordered the chicken ceaser wrap - medium. The wrap had a total of 4 bite size pieces of chicken and consisted mostly of croutons and overdressed lettuce. For the price that was paid for the sandwhich, the wrap, two drinks, and a bag of chips - this was not at all worth the $34+ that was paid. The inside of the restaurant was not clean and none of the tables or booth seats were wiped down. I don't mind a place that has younger employees - but this location really needs...
Read moreEditing my review after the conflict resolution by management because it's important to recognize improvement. And the food is pretty on point most of the time.
The manager Matt handled the issue I had very well and promptly. He was polite and apologetic for the incident by another employee. I had an issue last night that was not handled very well by the employee Isaiah with an allergen being put on my food that made me very upset. Matt did everything in his power including calling me during the time I requested although it was their busier hours.and is committed to making sure the employee in question is retrained on proper customer conflict resolution. I appreciate his honesty and prompt reply. And he has at least changed my mind on not wanting to return to give them another chance...
