I dont think i've ever left such a detailed review like the one i'm about to leave. My boyfriend and I took our car to a nearby mechanic and decided to come here for the day while we waited on it. We don't live near here, so I googled a nearby coffe shop, found this place, and took a chance. It was the best decision ever. You walk in and it's beautiful here. From the decorations on the wall, to the mural in the bathroom, to the textured glasses for the free cold water they offer. There is even fresh flowers on every table. There are tables to work, have meetings, read, or just chat with friends. I saw all of the above while being here. There are even some games provided for you to come hangout with your friends. Now being here all day, we got to try a good amount of things from the menu. I had a caramel iced coffee with oat milk and it was amazing. It tasted like great coffee without being too overpowering. My colombian boyfriend (i mention that because this is a colombian coffee shop), tried the Arrequipe Frappe and he was over the moon. He said it tasted exactly like the ones he has back in Colombia and that it was now his favorite coffee he'd tried since coming to the USA. We also had the pandebono with guava. These were soooo delicious. We originally bought one for each of us. My boyfriend then went back and ordered another 2. And we just ordered another 5 to go. Its the perfect combination of sweet and salty. We also had the Arepa with queso fresco + corn. We asked for it more on the toasted side and they delivered perfectly. It was a great crunch with an amazing flavor to go with it. Oh and their plates here are like cute wooden cutting board/serving plates. It's such a nice touch. Later for lunch, i had the caprese sandwich and my boyfriend had the turkey sandwich. When I tell you i've never had such a perfectly toasted sandwich in my life. Everything was made fresh. We got the chance to speak to the owner, Nicolas, and he was very kind and welcoming! He told us about the background of how this coffee shop came to be and helped guide us through the menu. He let us know that there are no microwaves here and that everything is made fresh! The rest of the staff was very professional yet warm as well! Needless to say, I fell in love with the place. We havent even left the coffee shop yet but i just HAD to post this review. Please come here!!! Bring anyone and everyone you know. 10/10. You will NOT be...
Read moreIt was a true privilege to visit Bolivar today. If you are a local, please come at least one time to try their food and coffee.
I'm from out of town and came here for lattes and a light bite. When we walked in we were immediately met with an inviting, warm, comfortable environment. The theme here is so thoughtful. The in house wares match the gorgeous wood tables, greenery, and branding.
We ordered two basic lattes, the vanilla and caramel, and they were perfect! Lightly sweet and perfectly steamed milk foam.
For a light bite we each got the breakfast arepas that's served with scrambled eggs and hogao. This dish almost made me cry. As someone who has visited many coffee shops, this shop will forever be memorable to me for the thought and love that went into the food and creation of the menu. From the baked goods, to the savory breakfasts, this shop deserves the highest recognition for creativity and passion!
The price for food and drink is undervalued. You will experience highly flavorful, refined, thoughtful food for less than you would spend at Starbucks.
Thank you for having me today and for serving me with kindness, authenticity, and love.
Much love and I hope you guys...
Read moreI have had this place on my list of places to try since they opened. I finally decided to swing by and check it out.
This coffee shop is located in a shopping plaza with Publix. It is next door to Great Clips. As such, there is ample parking.
The inside is cute and small. There are a decent amount of tables inside as well as a few out front. They have the menu located behind the cashier. Next to the cashier you will find the pastries that they offer. I opted for a Cardamon cappuccino with oat milk and the turkey sandwich. I also purchased a pastry. The 3 items came up to a total of about $23.00.
I opted to sit outside. The same staff that took my order also delivered my drink and food. Now let me tell you- for me- the winner was the turkey sandwich! Hands down the best sandwich I have ever eaten. The bread was soft and fresh, and the flavors were out of this world!! I will be back for that sandwich. The coffee was coffee. I can’t say that it was superior to other coffee shops
I think this is a nice spot to work from. There were actually a few patrons with their laptops. If you are in the area- stop by and order the turkey sandwich- you will not be...
