I called Cielo’s Tues, May 24th @ approx 8pm to place an order to go. At that time, a female employee answered the phone with a low voice to take my order. I proceeded to give her my first order, and ask the employee what came on the item I ordered? The employee stated in a very low voice to a point I could barely even hear her and I asked a second time. I could even hear laughing and the employee talking to an additional person in the background like they we’re discussing what the question was. Shortly, not even receiving the answer I asked for in the beginning, the employee put me on hold for at least 2-3 minutes. The employee finally returned after the 2-3 minute hold, and then asked “ do you still want to place that order” ? Mind you I was not even asked if that was “all I needed” “ just did I still want to place that one order? I was not very happy and asked to speak to someone else to place my order. Within seconds, that employee hung up on me! I called back, hoping someone else would answer the phone, but absolutely nobody would answer the phone. I called Cielo’s at least three times and my husband called once on his phone. I sent Cielo’s Facebook a message so management would be aware of the situation and was told I would be contacted when it was discussed with the employee. Four days later ,no response. The message was sent again. and asked if anything had been addressed with employee and rudely was told “ I told you I would get back with you, and I will but we are busy and it’s the weekend, and me to be patient”. This business definitely has unprofessional management, no concern for his customers, no apology offered. A person like this will not prosper!, But, only wither away with greed. Now, Tues, June 7th and waiting on a response! I have NEVER been treated like that from an employee from a restaurant in my life- a restaurant not answer the phone when I call back to place an order. I was also told some of the employees complained it was a slow night and just...
Read more1 star is for the service. If I could give less, I would. My family & I are driving through Snyder on our way to New Mexico. This place has good reviews so we decided to stop in. No one acknowledged us for 2-4 mins. Finally an older gentleman welcomed us and seated us. A young waiter comes out and asks for our drink order & he returns with the drinks within minutes. Then a waitress w/ a claw clip in her hair comes and asks us our order, we provide it & she walks away. You’d assume that she put the order in. Well she didn’t. 30 mins later we are still waiting for our order and she comes back again and asks for our order AGAIN! No explanation as to why she asked for it again or apology for the wait time. Then the waiter that provided our drink order comes by and asks if everything is ok. Nope it’s not because we’re still waiting for our order and it’s now been 45 mins. Another woman comes over, who seems to have a grasp on things and asks if we received our order. We said no and told her we were going to leave. Waiting an hour for lunch is unacceptable. They comped us for our Ice tea & sodas. She asked if we’d like to come back at another time and they would comp our food. We said “No thank you, we’re just driving through.” She said that we could talk to the Mgr (who also happens to be the bartender), if we’d like. We were hungry and didn’t have the time to tell him the chaos that occurred. We headed to Sonic where they were fast and the service was so...
Read moreThis was one of the WORST Mexican food places we’ve ever eaten at! The waitress got several things wrong right off the bat. We were very clear and she repeated and still got it wrong. Once she got our drinks right and brought us unsweet tea it was OLD and really gross. We asked very politely and apologized several times but asked if they would please make us a fresh pot of tea. She just went and tasted the tea, watered it down and then brought us a tiny cup of the same tea we had in our cups. We repeatedly asked her to make a fresh pot as she lied and said it was new then when my husband asked her in Spanish if it was a new batch (we knew it wasn’t because we could see her and she didn’t have time) she wouldn’t answer. She refused to make more so we asked for a coke. The food was so gross! The worst Spanish rice I’ve ever had. My daughter loves chicken strips and she didn’t even like that. My husband eats barbacoa every place we go and he said it was the worst one he’s ever had. We...
