Wine Down was a major disappointment. If there’s an event happening, don’t expect any kind of service. We were excited to try the pizza, but we ended up leaving—along with several other families—because no one bothered to serve us.
When we arrived, we weren’t sure how to place an order, so we asked. Still, no one helped. You order drinks when you walk in, but at nearly $40 for drinks alone, I expected better—at the very least, a proper glass for my wine instead of a plastic cup.
To make matters worse, the older woman working the register had the worst attitude for no reason. Her energy was unwelcoming, and she even gave a nasty stare while sitting outside, chatting with some men.
Overall, Wine Down does not live up to the hype. We won’t be back.
As per your reply, Thank you for your response. My concern wasn’t about the pricing itself, but rather that the value of the products and experience didn’t align with the cost. While I appreciate the effort that goes into curating unique wines and hosting large-scale events, I didn’t feel that the overall experience justified the price point.

The food? Delicious with a variety of great choices that pair perfectly with their impressive wine selection.
Tonight’s vibe was elevated by live music from a talented local singer (whose name I, unfortunately, didn’t catch), but the ambiance was unforgettable—warm, welcoming, and just right.
Whether you're planning a romantic dinner or a laid-back night with friends or family (they even have board games!), WineDown hits the spot.

Read moreWe had our work Christmas party here in December and it was truly wonderful. Kris was instrumental in helping us get everything coordinated and remained flexible despite all the changes that kept popping up. The group loved the cozy atmosphere, and the stuff was amazing throughout. It was nice to host a party in such a warm and unique environment. We felt like we were in someone's home vs a stuffy establishment. Highly recommend a visit and a meal here. Throughout the evening, people kept asking me how I found this place- they made plans to come back and revisit it! I also appreciate how they support the local community, and veterans as well! This is a true gem in El Paso.
Thank...
