Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Solana Beach

I hate to leave bad reviews, but this time I think I should in order for them to do something about it. Even though I was not happy with their business last week when they delivered pizza, tonight we dine in with my family . Their service was so bad that during the 19 years that have been coming here never experienced it. They brought our salad after the pizza, forgot to bring the bread roll and we had to go to the cash register to pay our check. The manager was having fun and laughing with someone which I don’t know was a friend or customer. If the business operate like this, the resturant will be close in few month. Last week I order 3 pizza with three order of bread roll. They said they will charge me for two and one is free, but they deliver only 2 order of bread roll. I also told the I have a coupon, they said we will credit you after we deliver , and also they were suppose to credit one order of bread roll too. They didn’t credit anything back, the $8 bucks is not going to break my bank but it’s matter of principle. Anyway, I am your customer for past 19 years, and your service...

Went there today and it's our 2nd time there. I love Pizza Nova in Pt Loma. But this store needs A LOT of help. We got there at 1pm. No one else was there really. Pretty empty for lunch time. We waited and had to asked to be seated because the waitress was busy talking with her co-worker. Then we waited about 15 mins to order. Had to ask for rolls. (Maybe they don't just give rolls anymore) and they came out a little old and cold. Our salads came out, my daughters was fine. Mine didn't have any croutons on it. Couldn't tell the waitress that, because she NEVER came and checked on us. EVER. She didn't bring us refills of water and tea until we asked for more. When I went inside to use the restroom, I saw her over in the corner on her phone. Really bad customer service. My daughter is a server, and she always thinks I'm too hard on the servers. Just to start off im a fairly nice person who is very forgiving....but i have never walked out of a place EVER... 17 minutes into it we dont have drinks, food, or even anyone to talk to..i understand if its busy but there were only a couple people and two ladys who work there in the front just talking. At 20 mins we finally get bread from a man who didnt say one word to us. So i gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought he didnt speak english or was busy. 25 mins and we saw a table infront of us who was there longer barely get there 3 waters and leave for another 5 mins....at that point 30 mins of my life was wasted. Very sad to say but not recommended unless you dont mind withering away like a dead flower that hasnt been watered in ages. I dont like ending negatively so, on a positive note, if you don't mind waiting 30 mins there bread balls are fairly good. Compliments...
