First disappointment: I went in excited wanting to buy pan "Virginia" but quickly learned from the nice cashier lady none was made today. So...I decided to not go home empty handed and decided to buy a few doughnuts and Mexican bread since they looked really good! As I was driving home I grabbed my chocolate covered doughnut and began to eat it. It was the most disgusting doughnut I had ever eaten. It was raw on the inside big time and stale af and had no sweetness at all. I decided to go back and explained the situation to the cashier lady. I told her I was willing to do an even exchange for some Mexican bread instead since I figured you can't go wrong with baking Mexican bread. I was wrong...the Mexican bread was just as nasty and stale! I'm never going back. That place sucks!! You guys need to fire that baker unless you as the owners or management are cutting corners trying to save money. Thats okay if you raise the prices due to inflation but atleast take pride and preserve the qualify of your pastries. I have friends that also claim equal disappointment. I paid $12.00 for nothing. I could have paid $4.00 at Del Sol and the bread is made...

Then he said oh I thought u had everything for the cake. Never did I say any of that. Then proceeded to tell me to go to the cake section at Walmart to try to fix it myself. Wow what bad customer service. If they can't do cakes then they need to inform there customers that. To lie to there customers is deceitful. It's wrong that they lie n...

I usually will travel from Yuma, Arizona to Somerton, Arizona to this particular establishment in order to get my girlfriend her masa (dough) in order for her to make tamales, and my girlfriend likes that good quality and just the right composition that this particular Elvira's Bakery prepares its tamale dough.
There is another Elvira's Bakery in Yuma, Arizona. I am not sure if they are related to one another but this Elvira's Bakery in Somerton, in my own opinion, has a better taste than the Yuma, Arizona one.
Give them a try! Especially during the city of Somerton's annual...
