During my recent visit to the area, I had the pleasure of discovering Delio's Pizza Shop, and it quickly became one of my favorite pizza restaurants of my trip. As an out-of-towner, finding a local pizza place that surpasses expectations was a delightful surprise. Delio's Pizza Shop truly delivers on its promise of delicious pizzas, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Delio's is Delicioso! Let me tell you somethin'. Growing up between Brooklyn and Jersey, I know a good slice when i see (and eat) one. Being rather new to the area, we were on the hunt for the pizza spot to make our family friday night ritual complete. Delio's sicilian is so spot on, nothing else compares. We tried Krispy's in Old Bridge. Been to Sciortino's a million times. This was it. Delightfully crispy crust on the bottoms, the cheese isn't heavy and the sauce is impeccable. I have been going to this place for over 38 years and I have never seen OLD looking food, as one review stated. Any pizza place you go to that sells slices looks like the slices are old . But put it in the oven and it tastes great. I have seen her throw away slices that may have been there for a little while. The showcase for their slices was used in the movie Coyote Ugly. They also made the pizza pies that were used in the movie. The production company wanted to use their store but they did not want to close for the filming. I personally believe that was a mistake.
